Ben Bailey (Discovery Channel's CASH CAB) hosts BEST IN THE BUSINESS -- the ultimate battle of job-skill supremacy that celebrates the cr�me de la cr�me of the American workforce. These two half-hour episodes will showcase average American jobs: Blacksmith vs. blacksmith. Excavator operator vs. excavator operator. Grocery bagger vs. grocery bagger -- turning the spotlight on the not-so-average people who take their profession to the next level. Blacksmiths who can create a usable corkscrew in mere seconds. Oyster shuckers who shuck so fast the cameras barely catch it. Excavator operators who are so precise they can carry an egg on a spoon over mounds of dirt. Many are good. Only one is the best.

ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER introduces viewers to the Kilcher family and their isolated community outside Homer, Alaska. The Kilchers, lead by patriarch Atz Kilcher, have cultivated and lived on their homestead for generations. These men and women of the wild live off the land, spending the limited months of summer and fall gardening, hunting and fishing for food, gathering supplies from the land and preparing their animals' safety in preparation for surviving the harsh Alaskan winters. Most live completely off the grid, with no running water and no electricity - and are proud of it.
