[For Release, December 16, 2011] HGTV designer Vern Yip will introduce the winner of a stunning high rise residence located on the 35th floor of Chicago's Trump International Hotel & Tower(R) during the HGTV Urban Oasis Giveaway 2011 on Thursday, December 29, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Custom-designed by Yip, the 1,000-plus-square-foot, fully-furnished condominium was the centerpiece of the fall 2011 grand-prize package valued at more than $750,000.

During the television special, viewers will follow along with Yip as he surprises an emotional Debbie Robertson with the news that she won the new, contemporary residence with sweeping vistas of the Chicago skyline. Viewers won't want to miss a single minute of the special as Yip goes behind the scenes to reveal how the winner was selected and offers them a final look at the residence.

Yip, a favorite with viewers and currently a member of the judging panel on the top rated series HGTV Design Star, decorated the high-rise residence with an eclectic mix of period pieces and contemporary d�cor reflective of Chicago's heart and soul. The residence includes one bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, a gourmet kitchen and breathtaking views of the city's skyline, the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. It also includes access to the tower's five star services such as a spa, fitness center, pool, restaurant and 24-hour concierge.
