CBS Gives Extra Episode to "Person of Interest"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- CBS has commissioned one additional episode of its freshman hit "Person of Interest," bringing its season total to 23.
The news, confirmed to the site by the show's spokesperson, comes on the heels of being picked up for a second season (read the story).
"Person" isn't the only newcomer to receive an expanded order at the network: back in January, Michael Patrick King revealed "2 Broke Girls" had been upped to 24 episodes (read the story).
[EDITOR'S NOTE: A previous version of this article indicated "Unforgettable" was likewise upped to 23 episodes this season. That information was incorrectly provided to us by the show's spokesperson, who has since revised the number back to 22.]
