Designers In Ten U.S. Cities Find Inspiration From The Critically Acclaimed Series To Create Artistic Scenes In Shop Windows

The Borgias Unveiled Sweepstakes Launches With A Chance To Win A Trip To Italy

New York, NY (April 2, 2012) - SHOWTIME will kick-off the second season of its critically acclaimed series THE BORGIAS with a nationwide design event featuring high-end retail window installations in ten cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston, DC, Miami and Dallas. The windows will be unveiled in each market on April 2nd and will be on display through April 19th. THE BORGIAS, a one-hour drama series based on the infamous Italian Renaissance family, returns for a second season on Sunday, April 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Oscar(R)-winning actor Jeremy Irons stars in his Golden Globe(R)-nominated role as Rodrigo Borgia, the cunning, manipulative patriarch of the Borgia family who ascends to the highest circles of power within Renaissance-era Italy to become Pope Alexander VI. THE BORGIAS is a complex, unvarnished portrait of one of history's most intriguing and infamous dynastic families. THE BORGIAS season one averaged 3.2 million weekly viewers.
