"Moonshiners: Cannonball Run" Special Premieres Wednesday, April 18 at 10PM E/P on Discovery
The one-hour special follows Tim and Tickle as they "try to make some quick cash by transporting moonshine - while trying to avoid a real life Boss Hogg."

[via press release from Discovery]

Tim and Tickle - Real life Bo and Luke Duke?

Dukes of Hazard is a memorable series - but what may not be so memorable is the fact that Bo and Luke Duke were on probation for illegally transporting moonshine. Even Uncle Jesse was known to brew and enjoy the occasional swig of White Lightning.

In the upcoming MOONSHINERS special "Cannonball Run," Tim and Tickle try to make some quick cash by transporting moonshine - while trying to avoid a real life Boss Hogg.

Cannonball Run

Premieres Wednesday, April 18th at 10PM E/P

It's the dead of winter in Appalachia, and moonshine season is still months away. But moonshiner Tim and his partner Tickle are planning adaring bootleg run for a fellow 'shiner - something Tim rarely does in winter but he needs the cash. In preparation for the run, Tim and Tickle chop and outfit their car to conceal up to 200 gallons of moonshine. Busts are going down across the region, so Tim and Tickle set out on a dry run to map their route and scan for police activity. Once the route is staked, Tickle leads in an interference car while Tim follows with the moonshine for a nighttime 100-mile run capped with a risky midday moonshine transfer. At least, that's the plan... This e-mail, and any attachment, is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
