Entertainment One Television and Authentic Brands Group Team Up to Develop Reality Competition Series "Finding Marilyn"

ENTERTAINMENT ONE TELEVISION AND AUTHENTIC BRANDS GROUP TEAM UP TO DEVELOP REALITY COMPETITION SERIES "FINDING MARILYN"

LOS ANGELES/TORONTO (APRIL 12, 2012) - Entertainment One (eOne) is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with the Estate of Marilyn Monroe to develop and produce FINDING MARILYN, a one-hour series that will have twelve young ladies competing for a chance to make it big in Hollywood.

"We are thrilled to give the winner of Finding Marilyn the opportunity to emulate Marilyn Monroe's iconic journey to stardom," said Nick Woodhouse, CMO of the Estate of Marilyn Monroe.

FINDING MARILYN is a real-life Cinderella story that will follow twelve young girls as they travel to Hollywood in order to compete to become the next great American Icon.

The series will be produced by eOne Television in association with the Estate of Marilyn Monroe. eOne's John Morayniss (Rookie Blue, Hung, The Firm), Rick De Oliveira (The Real World, Road Rules, Rock of Love with Brett Michaels) and Tara Long (Mary Mary, Party at Tiffany's) will serve as executive producers, along with the Estate of Marilyn Monroe's Jamie Salter and Joel Weinshanker. Authentic Brands Group holds the exclusive rights to the estate of Marilyn Monroe.
