E! BUILDS ON SUCCESS AND MOMENTUM AS THE PULSE OF POP CULTURE AND UNVEILS THE NETWORK'S NEXT EVOLUTION

E!'s New Look, Logo, Brand Campaign and "Pop of Culture" Tagline Will Debut on the Network and Digital Platforms on July 9

E! Online Relaunch Parallels Network Evolution with New Design, Enhanced Functionality and Innovative Advertising OpportunitiesLos Angeles, CA, April 30, 2012 - E! Entertainment is revealing the next phase of the network's evolution at its Upfront event this evening in New York. The evolution is centered on expanding, elevating and enhancing the global pop culture brand to achieve the network's mission to inspire and entertain the pop culture fan in all of us. The evolution, including a stylish new look, logo, tagline and brand campaign, embodies the way that pop culture has been embraced, redefined and amplified across today's social spectrum. The global brand refresh debuts Monday, July 9 with the premiere of E!'s new series "Opening Act," and will be rolling out the same day in Canada and internationally beginning this September. With its tremendous reach and influence, E! delivers more original programming than any other network seven days a week, 365 days a year and connects fans to pop culture 24/7 across its highly popular digital platforms. E! is the undeniable leader in entertainment news and presents topical programming that is more timely and up-to-the-minute than any other network.

"Our new look and programming plans are designed to more fully realize our brand's potential and continue to build on our growth and success," said Suzanne Kolb, President, E! "From news to reality to live events, E! lives at the epicenter of pop culture. For us, this exciting next chapter is all about never letting anyone go a minute without their 'pop of culture.'"

E! defines pop culture as the topics that fascinate us all - personalities, trends, music, fashion, TV, movies, art, nightlife, philanthropy, technology, design and sports. Constantly evolving and surprising, it is what drives society, and the network's research indicates that most people - particularly young adults - believe pop culture is important to their lives. E!'s updated look and logo, new "Pop of Culture" tagline and talent-driven brand spots help bring this to life in a uniquely E! way.

The next evolution of E! will include more original programming hours than any other network, further fueling E!'s pop culture power. Already an industry leader, in 2013, E! is adding 100 more original hours, which will take the network to 700+ original programming hours for the year. E!'s pop culture programming features a variety of genres, including reality series with fascinating personalities, clever comedy, topical series and specials, live red carpet events, unique music-driven series, and news franchises that give fans up-to-the-minute information from the world of pop culture. The faces on E! are equally diverse, ranging from Ryan Seacrest, Chelsea Handler, Joel McHale, Joan Rivers, Ice-T and Nigel Lythgoe, to the Kardashian, Eastwood and Jonas families. Additionally, scripted programming will make its first debut on the network in 2013.

The evolution of the E! brand also includes the relaunch of the network's popular web site, E! Online, on July 9. Coming off its biggest year ever in 2012 and averaging 10 million monthly uniques, the site will be expanded, updated and reignited with a tablet friendly redesign that builds on its best-in-class entertainment coverage and offers improvements in functionality and user interaction, as well as enhancements to its live streaming capabilities, high-res photo galleries and unique social integrations. The site's sleek design, dynamic new look and fluid content presentation parallels E!'s new on-air look and attitude.

Also underscoring E!'s top standing in the pop culture landscape, the network continues to dominate in the social arena with 20 million likes/followers on Facebook and Twitter. E! is also the only entertainment network that ranks among the top 10 most popular brands on Twitter and is the three-screen leader ranking #1 in terms of combined network reach of on-air, online and mobile platforms according to a recent Nielsen study. E!'s popular apps - E! Online, Live from the Red Carpet, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Soup and Fashion Police - also continue to drive digital growth and expand the network's reach across social platforms.
