NBC ANNOUNCES THE SIX NEW SINGLE LADIES WHO TURN UP THE HEAT ON THE ADVENTURE-DATING SERIES "LOVE IN THE WILD"

After Two Singles Go Home, a New Crop of Women are Introduced to Spice up the Island Romances

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 13, 2012 - The surprises keep on coming on NBC's "Love in the Wild" (Tuesdays, 10-11 p.m. ET) after romance seekers Shauna and Tim failed to make any love connection in the Dominican Republic paradise on last night's (June 12) episode and were sent home. Once the eliminated contestants were sent packing, the series revealed six new single women searching for "the one" on the Endemol USA-produced adventure-dating series.

The show, hosted by Jenny McCarthy, kicked off the season by introducing seven surprise men for the ladies to pair up with to form trios. Now it's the men's choice in episode three next week as they will have their chance to select another woman to be part of their trio for the next adventure -- and see whether the existing relationships formed will stand the test of the new temptresses.

Also in the next episode, the newly formed trios are shackled together to endure a rigorous challenge through the jungle and led into a smoldering bat cave. The winning couple will enjoy a romantic sailboat cruise, while the emotional Couple's Choice Ceremony brings surprise rejections and sends six women home without finding love in the wild.

Listed below are the six new surprise women that will pair up with the existing couples to kick off the episode three adventures as trios.

Surprise Girls:

LINDSAY FURMAN (Age: 29) -- hometown: Spring Lake; N.J.; resides in Philadelphia - The incredibly competitive event planner and model Furman seems to attract more male than female friends which could be due to her love of football. Besides being afraid of scary movies, her greatest fear is growing old alone. She's searching for a witty man who can keep up with her. @ljfurman

NATALIE KORZON (Age: 24) -- hometown: Ann Arbor, Mich.; resides in Santa Monica, Calif. - One of three sisters, Korzon was introduced to sports by her dad who taught all his daughters to play ice hockey. A former member of Western Michigan University women's ice hockey team, Korzon is certain that she will dominate all of the challenges. This art teacher is sure to get creative in finding ways to lure Mr. Right. @NatalieKorzon

MELISSA ALATORRE (Age: 23) -- hometown: San Diego, Calif.; resides in Los Angeles -- Don't underestimate the pint-sized Alatorre; she is incredibly competitive and is not afraid to go after the guy she wants. This San Diego native is looking for a guy that is ready to commit. Her secret weapon is her piercing green eyes, which she says men have a hard time resisting. @m_alatorre

JENNA GILLUND (Age: 23) -- hometown: Chicago; resides in Dallas -- As a former NBA team dancer, Gillund is tired of the dating scene in Dallas. Originally from Chicago, she describes herself as a Midwest girl who prefers a real man and appreciates a little spontaneity. Gillund is a fierce competitor and keeps her eye on the prize - finding herself a man and winning the show. @jennagillund

VANESSA RAMIREZ (Age: 30) -- hometown: Phoenix.; resides in Phoenix -- As a television host and in-game host for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Ramirez knows how a team should work and will bring that knowledge to her adventures in the wild. Other pluses for this extremely competitive lady are that she is in great shape and works out daily which will help in navigating the wild terrain -- although her fear of bugs may cause some problems. As far as the dating jungle goes, her last serious relationship was seven-years-long, and since then, she has yet to find "the one." @vanessa_host

MICHELLE SACCO (Age: 26) - hometown: Rome, Ga.; resides in Atlanta -- After Sacco's last relationship ended, she has been on the hunt to find Mr. Right. This super-confident girl believes in love at first sight and will do whatever it takes to get the guy she wants. Sacco is often unfairly judged by her appearance, but don't be fooled by her beauty, she has the brains and brawn as well. She grew up bass fishing in the Everglades and definitely knows her way in the wild. @michellesacco

"Love in the Wild" puts relationships to the ultimate test with exhilarating and wild adventures that push participants to the limit, both physically and emotionally. Single men and single women, all looking for love, will experience a romantic quest unlike anything they could have ever imagined. These singles have tried it all -- speed-dating, blind-dating, internet dating -- and now, they will journey to a tropical paradise to see if they can find that special someone for whom they've been looking.

During elimination, all of the couples will come together to reveal whether a connection has been formed with their current partner -- or if they would like to switch and get to know someone else. At the end of every episode, heartbroken singles are sent home. The series culminates with just one couple left standing. That couple will have completed the adventure of a lifetime and found the one thing they've been searching for -- "Love in the Wild."

"Love in the Wild" is produced by Endemol USA. Tom Shelly serves as executive producer.
