BITS & PIECES (Disney) - Dove Cameron, Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Benjamin King have all been cast in the comedy pilot, which will showcase the bits and pieces of a family's funniest moments using quick, dynamic storylines that unfold through a series of short comedic vignettes. Cameron will play the family's "opinionated, image-conscious 16-year-old daughter" Alana with King presumably as high school basketball coach Pete, her new step-father and Zuehlsdorff as his daughter Crystal. Andy Fickman is helming the multi-camera project from a script John D. Beck and Ron Hart. Betsy Sullenger also serves as an executive producer alongside the trio. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Newcomer Jay Ellis has joined the cast of BET's "The Game" as the Sabers' highly educated number one draft pick, who still has a lot to learn about life, love and himself (Deadline.com); Riley Smith will recur on "90210" as a new love interest for Shenae Grimes's character (TVLine.com); Kellan Lutz will guest on "Family Guy" as a hunky jock does agree to go on a date with Meg "but he's interested in another member of the Griffin family - and it's not one of the women" (EW.com); and Patrick Wilson will drop by HBO's "Girls" as "a fortysomething doctor who lives next door to where Hannah works and becomes a potential love interest to Lena Dunham's insecure 24-year-old" (TVLine.com).
