"THE SOUP" THROWS THE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY FOR JEN AND JUSTIN!
From Hiring The Wedding Planner To Ordering The Cake To Picking Out The Dress And More, "The Soup" Team Pulls Out All The Stops To Create This Hollywood Couple's Dream Wedding August 29th ... Whether They Show Up Or Not!
Los Angeles, CA, August 13, 2012 - On August 8th, amid a whirlwind of conflicting reports and a frenzy of "yes or no" reporting, "The Soup" host Joel McHale announced that the show is throwing the "Wedding of the Century" for Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux on Wednesday, August 29th. Suddenly, on the heels of that announcement, the A-list couple did in fact confirm they are engaged and ready to tie the knot! For the next three weeks, "The Soup" team, led by McHale, pulls out at least some of the stops to make Theriston's wedding the buzz of Tinsletown - even if the couple doesn't know about it. They'll spare no expense - unless it exceeds the $300 shooting budget. The crew hired a top-name wedding planner, ordained a minister, will create a wedding dress for Jen, throw the bachelor and bachelorette parties and so much more. Be sure to RSVP at (http://thesoup.tv/P6wg0S) to get a front-row seat to every over-the-top-parodied-moment that will (hopefully) culminate in a spectacular in-show wedding on "The Soup," August 29th at 10pm ET/PT only on E!
In last Wednesday's episode of "The Soup," the show's team hired the best of the best in celebrity weddings (in other words, begged celebrities who had some free time that day) to make the A-list couple's ceremony a smashing success, even though the couple hadn't even announced their engagement yet. Joining Joel in the wedding madness are Hollywood's sassiest wedding planer Kevin Lee, "RuPaul's Drag Race" contestant Shangela who served up one-of-a-kind wedding dress "realness" to Jen, celebrity chef Ted Nugent who will be catering the star-studded celebration and "The Soup's" very-own beach bunny Mankini who was ordained to perform the ceremony. In the weeks ahead, Jillian Reynolds will bring "live" updates to this "Soup" parody and comedian Doug Benson will take a stab at "floral" arrangements. Meanwhile Giuliana Rancic ensures that the wedding spoof will not infringe on "E! News'" studio time. Plus, "The Soup" throws a bachelor party for the ages complete with stormtroopers and potato chips - but where's the groom?
Oh, and did we mention we have the "Friends" reunion you've been waiting for?! "The Soup" has RSVP'd "Ugly Naked Guy" and "Marcel" the monkey... well... a monkey that we are calling "Marcel."
Don't miss the biggest celebrity wedding ever when "The Soup" throws Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux the hottest, ultimate, glamorous, dream, fairytale, celebrity wedding... and hopes they show up... on Wednesday, August 29th at 10pm ET/PT only on E! And don't miss all the juicy behind-the-scenes details every week only on TheSoupTV.com.
