Williams To Make National TV Appearances On "Fashion Police," "Conan," "Dr. Drew" & To Co-Host "E! News"

NEW YORK, Aug. 21, 2012 -- Debmar-Mercury's "The Wendy Williams Show" premieres its fourth season in national syndication on September 10 in high definition and from the first episode, viewers are going to see changes to the show that will make their favorite daytime star even more must-see than ever before.

Audiences will notice straightaway that things are different this season when they see Wendy step onstage to vibrant set enhancements. Incorporating Wendy's signature colors, pink and purple and lots of glitz and glamour, Wendy's modernized set will serve as a fitting backdrop to the larger-than-life sense of fun and the energetic personality that she brings to daytime TV.

Wendy is slated for several upcoming national television appearances. Catch her on "Conan" and "Dr. Drew" August 27, "Fashion Police" August 31 and co-hosting "E! News" September 14.

"It's season four and 'The Wendy Williams Show' feels more energetic than ever," said Debmar-Mercury Co-Presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein. "Audiences can sense that Wendy's having fun; and viewers and affiliates are responding to that enthusiasm."

"I am so excited to be in this beautiful new studio and doing what I love," said Williams. "There have been so many hot topics this summer and I can't wait to talk about them with my audience."

The daytime talker has received market upgrades in San Francisco, Miami, Denver, Kansas City, Fresno and Greenville, SC/Asheville, NC.

The show welcomes two new staff members. Stephanie Sacco and Anthony Lopez have been hired as Talent Producers. Sacco will head up the department, overseeing all celebrity bookings with a focus on film and television guests. Lopez will handle music, celebrity author, comedy and Broadway bookings. Sacco is credited with more than 11 years of entertainment experience. Most recently she served as Head of Talent and Entertainment Relations for Cambio/AOL. Prior to that, she freelanced for seven years, including work for "American Idol," "Fashion Rocks" and DirecTV. She has also worked for United Stations Radio Networks, Sirius and Virgin Records. Lopez leaves a nine-year stint as SiriusXM's Founder and Director of Talent & Industry Relations, where he secured talent for music, talk and sports platforms, to reunite with Sacco. Emmy award-winning producer David Perler returns as Executive Producer. Sacco and Lopez report to Perler.
