USA to Push "Covert Affairs" Through Fall

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- USA is keeping "Covert Affairs" on active duty.
The Piper Perabo-led drama will continue on Tuesdays at 10:00/9:00c into the fall, bookings from the network confirmed this morning.
The series however will take a three-week break - September 25, October 2 and October 9 - during the broadcast networks' traditional launch period. Perabo herself however will keep the Tuesday seat warm, hosting primetime marathons of "Law & Order: SVU" on said dates.
"Affairs" will then resume the back half of its third season on October 16.
As for USA's other dramas, look for the summer finales of "Burn Notice" (August 23), "Suits" (August 23), "Necessary Roughness" (August 29), "White Collar" (September 18) and "Royal Pains" (September 19) in the coming weeks.
