THE BOXES ARE PACKED, CHUY IS BUBBLE-WRAPPED AND THE MOVING TRUCKS ARE ON THE WAY AS E!'S HIT LATE NIGHT SERIES "CHELSEA LATELY" RELOCATES TO THE HISTORIC STAGE 1 AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS BEGINNING OCTOBER 15 AT 11PM ET/PT

"Chelsea Lately" Unveils Its New Studio with a Star-Studded Week of Power Women Including Jennifer Aniston, Fergie, Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera and Surprise Celebrity Appearances

Los Angeles, CA, September 27, 2012 - E!'s late night destination for everything pop culture, "Chelsea Lately," has a brand-new home starting October 15. From its humble beginnings in a small studio in Santa Monica, Chelsea and her team of hilarious misfits have made their lasting imprint on the comedic landscape and will now continue their late night dominance from the historic Stage 1 at Universal Studios.

"Chelsea Lately's" state-of-the-art, contemporary set will be unveiled Monday, October 15th when Handler welcomes her good friend Jennifer Aniston, along with a very special appearance by another movie mega-star. Throughout the week, the likes of Fergie (Tuesday), Miley Cyrus (Wednesday) and Christina Aguilera (Thursday) stop by to help Chelsea break in the new digs. Join Chelsea and the gang when "Chelsea Lately" debuts from Stage 1 at Universal Studios Monday, October 15th at 11pm ET/PT on E!

The new 9,200 square foot stage can accommodate 200 audience members (up from 75) and features the latest sound and lighting technology to house all the nightly roundtable rowdiness and intimate sit-down celebrity interviews. The five story Stage 1 was built in 1962 for "The Jack Benny Show" and has since been the home to "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," "Desperate Housewives," "Knight Rider" and feature films including "Jurassic Park III," "Hulk," "Meet the Fockers" and "Bruce Almighty."

Named one of Glamour Magazine's 2011 "Women of the Year," Chelsea is a permanent fixture in pop culture as she continues to build a multiplatform media empire in television, film and as an author. Chelsea's success as an author has led to her books "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea," "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang" and "Lies Chelsea Handler Told Me" all debuting at No. 1 on the New York Times bestsellers' lists. Her first book, "My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One Night Stands," has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide and next October, Handler will release a new book titled "50 Shades of Chartreuse: This Time It's Personal."

"Chelsea Lately," which launched in July 2007, reigns as the highest-rated and most-watched cable late night talk show among W18-34, out-performing shows including "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Jimmy Kimmel," "Conan," "Jimmy Fallon," "The Daily Show" and "Colbert Report" in that demographic. Chelsea is joined each night by a celebrity guest as well as a round table made up of some of the most talented names in comedy to discuss, dissect and deride the latest laughable headlines in entertainment news. Some notable regulars on the roundtable include Ross Mathews, Sarah Colona, Brad Wollack, Heather McDonald, Chris Franjola, Fortune Feimster and Josh Wolf, many of whom also star on E!'s docuseries "After Lately" alongside Chelsea.

Pour yourself a vodka on the rocks and don't miss the queen of late night take center stage - on Stage 1 - when E! debuts all-new episodes of "Chelsea Lately" from Universal Studios beginning October 15th at 11pm ET/PT.
