Movie Is Part of a "Step Up" Marathon That Includes "Step Up" At 3:30PM ET/PT And "Step Up 2: The Streets" At 6:00PM ET/PT

Burbank, CA (October 8, 2012) - ABC Family turns up the heat with the basic cable premiere of "Step Up 3," Sunday, October 14th at 8pm ET/PT. The film is part of a full day of cool beats and smooth moves with a "Step Up" marathon that includes "Step Up" at 3:30pm ET/PT and "Step Up 2: The Streets" at 6:00pm ET/PT. An encore of "Step Up 3" will air at 10:00pm ET/PT.

In "Step Up 3," Moose (Adam G. Sevani, "Step Up 2: The Streets") has recently moved to New York to study engineering, having promised his father he'll give up dancing for college. However, when Moose meets Luke (Rick Malambri, "The Lying Game"), the leader of the House of Pirates dance crew, he immediately joins the team. Luke also meets Natalie (Sharni Vinson, "NCIS"), a talented dancer who may not be what she appears, while Moose tries to balance school, dancing, and his feelings for his best friend, Camille (Alyson Stoner, "Step Up"). It all comes to a head when House of Pirates competes in the World Jam dance contest against their biggest rivals, House of Samurai.
