MTV'S "SNOOKI & JWOWW" GETS READY FOR A TUESDAY NIGHT TAKEOVER WITH THE SEASON TWO PREMIERE ON JANUARY 8, 2013

The Series Returns for a 12-Episode Season, Expands To One-Hour Format and Moves to Tuesday Nights at 10p.m. ET/PT

New York, NY (October 24, 2012) - MTV today announced that the Season Two premiere of its hit "Jersey Shore" spinoff and top-rated cable series, "Snooki & Jwoww" will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10p.m. ET/PT. The series returns for a 12-episode season, expands to a one-hour format and brings the zany life and times of "Jersey Shore" BFF's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley to Tuesday nights.

Best friends and pop culture phenomenons, Snooki and JWOWW, give fans a closer look at their one-of-a-kind bond and no-holds-barred humor in their top-rated series "Snooki & Jwoww." Fresh from the "Jersey Shore," Season One of the top-rated cable series found the girls living together for one last bachelorette hurrah before settling down to focus on the demands of partnership and parenthood surrounding Snooki's engagement and baby news and JWOWW's tumultuous relationship with Roger.

Now in the second season, "Jersey Shore" is officially behind them but the drama and hijinks are far from over for America's favorite girlfriends. Nicole and Jenni will need their friendship and bond to sustain them more than ever, as the stakes in personal lives are raised. Fans will watch Nicole prepare to become a first-time mom, from nesting to going into labor and ultimately, get to see the first footage of her new son, Lorenzo. Jenni embarks on a personal adventure of her own as she takes the next step in her relationship with Roger when the two become engaged in true fearless, JWOWW fashion: via sky-diving! Also, the season could never be complete without a girls' night out and with these two, a lot can happen in one evening. Things in their lives are about to become a whole lot different but some things - like friendship, humor and animal prints - always remain the same.

Averaging a 1.7 rating and drawing 1.3 P12-34 viewers in its debut season, "Snooki & JWoww" ranked as the #1 cable series in its time slot. "Snooki & JWoww" also ranked as Thursday's #2 cable series, after MTV's "Awkward." The season averaged 1.8 million total viewers each week.

"Snooki & Jwoww" is produced by 495 Productions -the production company behind "Jersey Shore." Sally Ann Salsano serves as Executive Producer for 495 Productions and Jacquelyn French executive produces for MTV. Janay Dutton is Executive In Charge of Production for MTV.

The Season 1 DVD is now available exclusively at Amazon.com and Shop.MTV.com! Includes all 12 episodes plus bonus content.
