New York City (October 24, 2012) - NYC & Company, New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, New York Comedy Festival and Comedy Central today announced four additional free events, including bus tours, improv shows, and walking tours, during Comedy Week, November 5-11. These events will complement the Comedy Week show, which is part of the New York Comedy Festival, featuring Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, from the hit Comedy Central series Key & Peele.
"From live television and theater to comedy clubs and performance artists, comedy is embedded in the fabric of New York City all year-round," said NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta. "We are proud to again present Comedy Week to provide New Yorkers and visitors opportunities to experience some of the funniest performers in the world as they showcase their humor and entertain audiences across the five boroughs."

Monday, November 5
The Comedy Bus with Gray Line
Discover the hilarious hidden history of New York City on this special Comedy Week Gray Line bus tour-hosted by the Upright Citizens Brigade. Top improv performers from the legendary comedy troupe will lead a double-decker bus tour of downtown NYC's most notable landmarks, dishing out historical facts and unexpected laughs along the way. 6pm and 8pm FREE
The Comedy Week Imrov Show at UCB East
The Upright Citizens Brigade's East Village location presents an evening of New York City-themed improv. The performers will take audience suggestions for their long-form improvised skits about New York life. 9:30pm FREE
Wednesday, November 7
Comedy Week Presents Key & Peele LIVE!
Comedy Central's Key & Peele will provide an evening of laughs in their first live show in New York City at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, as part of the New York Comedy Festival. 8pm FREE
Sunday, November 11
Comedy Week Presents Family Funny Featuring the Gotham All-Stars Going to a comedy club-much like drinking a fine wine or getting a tattoo that you'll later regret-is typically a fun activity that only adults get to do. But this year, Gotham Comedy Club (208 W. 23rd Street, Manhattan) presents an afternoon of family-friendly comedy. Parents and their kids (age 11 and up) can enjoy a variety of performers who won't skimp on laughs just because half the audience can't drive. 1pm FREE

Comedy Week presents the Stray Boots West Village Comedy Tour
Stray Boots presents a walking tour-cum-scavenger hunt that's all about the funny. The tour will send attendees on a hunt for comedic sites and locales all throughout the West Village and quiz them on facts. Attendees score points for each correct answer and learn fun (and funny!) info about the City.
