MTV WILL END THE YEAR IN STYLE WHEN "10 ON TOP: MOST STYLIN STARS OF THE YEAR" SPECIAL PREMIERES ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9TH AT 8PM ET/PT

Special To Feature Appearances From Cast Members of "Jersey Shore," "Teen Wolf," "Awkward," and "Underemployed" and Performances From Karmin and Neon Trees, and House DJ, DK KISS

New York, NY - (December 3, 2012) - On Sunday, December 9th at 8pm ET/PT MTV's weekend countdown series, "10 on Top" will celebrate the end of 2012 in style with its one hour special - "10 on Top: Most Stylin' Stars of the Year." Lenay Dunn along with co-host Holland Roden from "Teen Wolf" will count down the top ten most stylish stars of 2012. Viewers will get a chance to look back at the year's biggest style moments with never before seen interviews from some of the biggest stars including Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, and more.

MTV's hottest young stars including Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola (Jersey Shore), Molly Tarlov (Awkward) and Jared Kusnitz (Underemployed) will walk the runway wearing some of the season's latest fashions while viewers will get a sneak-peak at the fiercest trends for 2013! Additionally, artists Neon Trees and Karmin will take the crowd by storm with live performances of their latest hits. To keep the party going all night, DJ KISS, a fashion icon in her own right having been awarded the "2012 Personal Style Award" by Elle Magazine and named one of the "25 Most Stylish New Yorkers" by US Weekly, will spin the hottest tracks .

Karmin's, Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan took the internet by storm last year after posting a cover of Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now" on YouTube. The clip instantly went viral and became one of YouTube's most viewed videos of 2011. The duo has since racked up 200 million views for their videos with over 800,000 YouTube subscribers. Their first single "Brokenhearted" hit #1 on Billboard's Heatseeker's Chart, and Top 20 on Billboard's Pop, Digital and Dance/ Club Play charts and hit the top ten at Top 40 Radio. The duo has since released their debut EP "Hello" and racked up over a half of a billion views for their videos.

Neon Trees have SoCal roots, but the band came together eight years ago when Tyler and his neighbor, guitarist Chris Allen, relocated to Provo, Utah, and hooked up with Elaine Bradley (drums) and bassist Branden Campbell. Their new album Picture Show was released this past April and features the hit "Everybody Talks" as well as "Lessons in Love, (All Day, All Night) which is a collaboration with Kaskade. Concerning the album Tyler says: "When we started working on Picture Show I discovered I'd become fearless," Tyler continues ... "I love who our audience is; we don't need to be anything other than who we are. That was an incredible realization. It freed us up. We're unconstrained. We're bolder." Neon Trees will be hitting the road in February supporting Maroon 5.
