GRAMMY(R) AWARD WINNER NAOMI JUDD STARS AS A MONSTER-IN-LAW WHO COMPLICATES WEDDED BLISS FOR DANIELLE PANABAKER IN "NEARLYWEDS," A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE JANUARY 12

Jessica Parker Kennedy, Britt Irvin, Ryan Kennedy, Travis Milne and Steve Bacic Co-star; Based on Award-winning Author Beth Kendrick's Romantic Comedy, Nearlyweds

The honeymoon phase is over when three best friends find out their marriages licenses were never signed in "Nearlyweds," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere Saturday, January 12 (9p.m. ET/PT, 8C). Danielle Panabaker ("Beverly Lewis' The Shunning") stars as a new bride who deals with a rocky path in her almost marriage, fueled largely by her monster-in-law, Renee played by Grammy(R) Award-winning country music superstar Naomi Judd ("The Killing Game"). The romantic comedy is based on award-winning author Beth Kendrick's novel, Nearlyweds and also stars Jessica Parker Kennedy ("The Secret Circle"), Britt Irvin ("The Vow"), Ryan Kennedy ("Hannah's Law"), Travis Milne ("Rookie Blue") and Steve Bacic ("Big Love").

When Erin (Panabaker), Casey (Kennedy) and Stella (Irvin) discover that a paperwork error has annulled all their marriages, they reassess their relationships with their new nearly-husbands. Erin finds herself competing with mother-in-law Renee (Judd) for the loyalty of David (Kennedy), Casey questions Nick's (Milne) commitment, and Stella deals with balancing her desire for a career with Mark's (Bacic) expectation for a stay at home wife. With the pressures of marriage all around, all three couples must again decide whether to make the long walk down the aisle...or to walk out the door and start over. The three friends navigate the highs and lows of their new marriages together, but ultimately must make their own decisions about the futures of these relationships.

American icon, New York Times best-selling author and country music superstar, Naomi Judd, who has sold over 20 million records and earned six Grammys(R) in her highly-successful music career, proudly returns to Hallmark Channel since hosting "Naomi's New Morning" to star in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie "Nearlyweds."

"Nearlyweds" is a Pitchblack Pictures production in association with Wonderfly Films. William R. Greenblatt, Shawn Williamson and Kat Green are the executive producers. Jamie Goehring is the producer. Mark Griffiths directed from a script by Aury Wallington, adapted from the novel Nearlyweds by award-winning author, Beth Kendrick.
