First-Ever Live "Jersey Shore" Reunion Airing After The Series Finale At 11:00 P.M. ET/PT (Tape-Delayed) Promises To Be An Unpredictable Night As The Cast Says Goodbye

New York, NY (December 11, 2012) - After six unforgettable seasons, MTV is bidding farewell to America's favorite TV housemates, the "Jersey Shore" cast, with seven consecutive days of programming. The marathon will kick off with the penultimate episode on Thursday, December 13 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT and lead into the series finale on Thursday, December 20 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. One last time, fans will get to relive "Jersey Shore's" most outrageous moments -- the fights, the hookups, breakups, and makeups, and the fist pumping good times that defined this pop culture phenomenon. The "Jersey Shore" marathon will also include bonus interviews, featuring goodbye messages and behind-the-scenes moments.

MTV censors better be ready, because for the first time in "Jersey Shore" history the Reunion will be LIVE following the finale at 11:00 P.M. ET/PT (tape-delayed). All eight cast members will come together one last time in front of a LIVE studio audience and there is no telling what drama will go down. Hosted by "Jersey Shore" correspondent Amy Paffrath, the cast will look back at the past six seasons and say their final goodbyes. The live Reunion promises to be a juicy, emotional and heart-filled sendoff that shouldn't be missed.

Fans can still follow their favorite best friend duo, Snooki and JWOWW when "Snooki & JWOWW" season 2 premieres on Tuesday, January 8 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Viewers can visit JerseyShore.MTV.com to watch exclusive interviews with the cast, see bonus scenes from all six seasons, read cast bios and to flip through photos. "Jersey Shore" since its on-air debut in December 2009 has achieved and maintained television domination as the #1 cable series for P12-34 consecutively for all five of its previous seasons. Now in its sixth and final season, the series continues to dominate the Thursday night programming landscape. "Jersey Shore" consistently rates as one of the top cable programs week-to-week in its last cycle.

"Jersey Shore" is executive produced by SallyAnn Salsano from 495 Productions. Jacquelyn French is executive producer for MTV. Janay Dutton is Executive In Charge of Production for MTV. Concept created by Anthony Beltempo.
