WE tv UNVEILS SEVEN NEW SHOWS IN DEVELOPMENT

NEW YORK, NY - December 12, 2012 - WE tv today unveiled seven original projects currently in development at the women's network for 2013/2014 series consideration. The projects underscore WE tv's commitment to spotlighting women who are bold and in charge of the world around them. The projects come to WE tv from a roster of accomplished production companies including Sony, World of Wonder, Electus and others.

Commented Lauren Gellert, WE tv's SVP of original production & development: "We're extremely excited about our current development slate featuring programs about bold, powerful women who are unapologetic for the way they live their lives. The shows we are developing explore women's secret temptations, fantasies, and their exciting and fun adventures. Our goal is to create an environment women can call their own; closing the door to the outside world and indulging in some juicy entertainment."

WE tv's current development slate includes:

BEDROOM CONFIDENTIAL

Girlfriends like to dish, but are they really serving up the juiciest stories or are they too shy to kiss and tell? Bedroom Confidential is part docu-soap, part social experiment featuring five female friends who allow cameras access to every aspect of their lives, including their bedrooms.

BIG PIPPEN

This docu-series follows Larsa and Scottie Pippen, THE power couple in Chicago. She's a Middle Eastern princess from a wealthy family and he's one of the city's most beloved sports icons. From private jets to designer digs, diamond rings and NBA championships, the Pippens live a truly charmed life. Add in her overbearing family and his clan from Arkansas and this duo is living life Big Pippen style. Produced by Left Right Productions.

CHASING BALLROOM

This docu-soap is the real life "Dancing with the Stars" and in this version the "stars" are real women who indulge their fantasy of being a dancer. From the private dance lessons with ballroom pros to the elaborate costumes, high heels and glitter-infused make-up, these women are putting it all out on the dance floor to turn their "what if?" dream into a reality. Produced by Sony.

DIVAS FOR JESUS

Follows a group of fabulous Christian women whose faith consists of guns, god, gossip and great wine. Monday through Saturday our ensemble cast of glamorous Nashville ladies live upper class lifestyles working and playing hard. Tossing Book Club for Bible Study, these ladies get together every week and on Sunday they ask for forgiveness and cleanse their fabulous little souls. Produced by Bischoff Hervey Entertainment in association with Carrie Gerlach Cecil.

POWERLIST

Powerlist follows successful, self-made women who refuse to choose between having an amazing career and a family. Working to have it all, these women - and their BIG personalities - have arrived, and they're intent on staying at the top. They make their own rules and fight their own battles on the quest to make sure not too many people can see them sweat. Produced by Electus.

SHOE WHORES (working title)

The relationship between women and their shoes is an age-old love affair. But what happens when a woman is asked to choose between her favorite pair and an eligible bachelor? In this dating show, when a single lady selects her favorite shoe, it comes attached to a single guy who selected the same one in the hopes of finding the lady of his dreams. Show host Ritch Erani, the designer behind CHUCKiES New York, will send each duo on a romantic date and at the end he gives the bachelorettes the choice to go out again and keep the fabulous shoes or refuse and go home barefoot and alone. Produced by Go Go Luckey.

SINGLE BRIDES

It's the newest extreme female phenomenon... women across the U.S. are planning elaborate dream weddings including the venue, cake, music, flowers and, of course, the dress. The only thing missing is the groom. This docu-soap follows fiancé-free ladies as they plan their dream wedding while continuing to date in the hopes they'll find the right bachelor to meet them at the altar. Produced by World of Wonder.
