CBS announced today summer premiere dates for two original scripted dramas, a new alternative series and an expanded season of BIG BROTHER.

A new reality competition series based on the hit UK format "The Great British Bake Off," premieres Wednesday, May 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). The series features skilled amateur Americans competing in baking challenges with one ultimately being crowned the winner.

The town's inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away.

The summer reality hit BIG BROTHER will have a longer edition this summer, premiering two weeks earlier than previous years on Wednesday, June 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).

BIG BROTHER will be broadcast three nights weekly - Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 2), the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen will be broadcast on Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 PM live ET/delayed PT, beginning July 3) and Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning June 30).
