This first of its kind multiplatform event begins with a one-hour television special, spotlighting the Adriatic Sea and the historic and stunning coasts of Italy and Croatia, and culminates with an unprecedented $100,000 custom dream vacation giveaway. The "Trip of a Lifetime" online sweepstakes (travelchannel.com) runs from January 27, 2013 to March 24, 2013. Lincoln, the luxury automotive brand, is the presenting automotive sponsor.

The 2013 "Trip of a Lifetime" sweepstakes offers one lucky viewer a chance to build and win the most over-the-top, multi-destination trip, packed with exclusive and unique experiences they can imagine. Destination highlights and exclusive events will be featured within the region, allowing the audience to build and customize their own "Trip of a Lifetime" itinerary. The winning travelers (up to four friends or family) will get to jet away on their own dream itinerary, with an approximate retail value of $100,000.
