LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Lifetime has pulled the plug on its veteran drama "Drop Dead Diva" after four seasons, Deadline.com reports.
The show's most-recent run averaged 2.297 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49, putting it behind Lifetime's two other scripted originals "Army Wives" (3.084 million viewers, 1.0 adults 18-49 rating) and "The Client List" (2.515 million viewers, 0.9 adults 18-49 rating).
New seasons of "Army Wives" and "The Client List" are on tap this year, alongside newcomer "Devious Maids." Three other drama pilots - "Cinnamon Girl," "The Secret Lives of Wives" and "Witches of East End" - also recently completed production.
