TLC's "THE GOOD BUY GIRLS" SELL WHAT'S NEXT TO BRING IN THE CHECKS

[Los Angeles, CA]--Meet Brook Roberts and Tara Gray. As former pageant girls, these best friends and roommates have taken their competitive skills & spirit from the stage to the TV screen as they look to elevate their home shopping network to the next level. On TLC's newest series THE GOOD BUY GIRLS, premiering Wednesday, June 5th at 10/9c, this ambitious dynamic duo stop at nothing to make DSN a huge success, no matter the obstacle.

After years of hosting a home shopping network that is known for selling rare gemstones and jewelry, Brook and Tara are ready to expand DSN's product inventory. With a new studio in Orange County, California, "Team BT", as they call themselves, are willing to do whatever it takes to sell their way to the top and reinvent the brand. This means researching and testing a variety of outrageous new products with the hopes of capturing a broader audience - including doggy treadmills, home spray tanning systems, menopause pajamas and Fabio's very own protein products. The only thing holding them back is their opinionated and stubborn group of co-workers.

Their boss and owner of DSN, Art, believes that the girls should stay on course and continue to sell what the consumers are used to and Art's son, Grant, is unwilling to go against his father by supporting Brook and Tara. Veteran DSN host Marlene is stuck in her traditional ways and is reluctant to sell these new products, while inventory manager Ping tries to stay out of office politics.

Team BT won't let their dysfunctional DSN family hold them back, even if that means they have to reinvent their home shopping network by themselves. TLC has ordered 12 half-hour episodes of THE GOOD BUY GIRLS, produced by True Entertainment.
