USHER TO PERFORM LIVE ON JUNE 10 TELECAST OF "THE VOICE"

Fall Out Boy, as well as Alumni Tony Lucca, Nicholas David and Terry McDermott, to Appear on June 11 Episode

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 5, 2013 - "The Voice" coach Usher will perform his newest single "Twisted" on the June 10 episode of NBC's hit musical competition series.

On June 11, multi-platinum selling band Fall Out Boy, as well as "The Voice" alumni Tony Lucca, Nicholas David and Terry McDermott, will take to the stage.

"Twisted" is featured on Usher's seventh studio album "Looking 4 Myself" which has become the eight-time Grammy Award-winning superstar's fourth consecutive #1 studio album according to Nielsen SoundScan. In addition to debuting at #1 on the Top 200 Album Chart, "Looking 4 Myself" also debuted at #1 on the Digital Albums Chart and R&B Album Chart.

Usher is set to start production on the film "Hands of Stone" and continue working on his eighth studio album, in which he will continue to delve into his creative process through his songwriting and collaborations with other artists.

In "Hands of Stone," Usher will play boxer Sugar Ray Leonard. The film, which is a biopic of boxer Roberto Duran, is being shot in Panama and co-stars Edgar Ramirez and Robert De Niro.

Usher has been ranked by the Recording Industry Assn. of America as one of the best-selling artists in American music history, having sold over 50 million albums worldwide. He has won numerous awards including eight Grammy Awards and was named the #1 Hot 100 artist of the 2000s decade. Billboard named him the second most successful artist of the 2000s decade, with his career-propelling 2004 album "Confessions" being ranked as the top solo album of the 2000s decade. Usher has attained nine Hot 100 #1 hits (all as a lead artist) and 18 Hot 100 top-10 singles.

Fall Out Boy will perform "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark" from its "Save Rock and Roll" album, which was released in April and debuted No. 1 on the Billboard charts and No. 1 in 27 countries around the world. The band is currently on a global tour.

Fall Out Boy will return to the States in fall, with dates that include the Barclays Center in Brooklyn the Honda Center in Anaheim in September.

Lucca, a finalist on season two of "The Voice," will debut the single "Never Going to Let You Go." Also performing that night are season-three artists David and McDermott, who will sing "Say Goodbye" and "Pictures," respectively.

By the time Lucca reached "The Voice" in 2012, he had been making music and working in show business for over 20 years. He began on "The Mickey Mouse Club," where he worked with original "Voice" coach Christina Aguilera, and then began acting, co-starring in "Malibu Shores" and appearing in several national commercials.

Musically, Lucca released his first album in 1997 and recently signed with "Voice" coach Adam Levine's 222 Records. Lucca, in fact, will tour with Levine and his Maroon 5 bandmates on the Honda Civic tour that begins Sept. 4. He'll headline his own tour beginning July 29.

While on "The Voice," and under Levine's tutelage, Lucca performed a daring interpretation of Jay-Z's "99 Problems," which hit No. 3 on the iTunes chart.

David and McDermott performed on season three of "The Voice" and were both finalists. David was a member of CeeLo Green's team while McDermott was on Blake Shelton's squad.

The Monday edition of "The Voice" (5.2) is the #3 primetime series on the broadcast networks this season in adults 18-49, the #2 entertainment series and the #1 reality series.

"The Voice" is a presentation of Mark Burnett's One Three Inc., Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who executive-produces along with Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.
