New York, NY - June 5, 2013 - TV Land announced today that William Shatner ("Star Trek") and Brian Baumgartner ("The Office") will guest star in the LIVE episode of "Hot in Cleveland" on Wednesday, June 19. The episode will be live on the East Coast at 10pm ET, with the West Coast getting the live-to-tape version three hours later at 10pm PT. "Hot in Cleveland" stars Valerie Bertinelli ("One Day at a Time,"), Jane Leeves ("Frasier"), Wendie Malick ("Just Shoot Me!") and Betty White ("The Golden Girls").

As he prepares for this event, William Shatner joked, "At long, long last, I am working with someone who is older than me." With an extensive career including live theater and hosting "Saturday Night Live," Shatner is ready for this exciting experience!

Brian Baumgartner, well-known for his turn as Kevin Malone in the Emmy(R) Award-winning series "The Office," will also guest star in the live episode. This is his first role fresh off "The Office" series finale last month.

The show will begin where the winter season finale left off with Joy (Leeves) discovering what Elka (White) and Mamie (Georgia Engel) have been up to all season - it's illegal and dangerous and they are in way over their heads, cutting into the business of some very scary locals. Melanie (Bertinelli), Victoria (Malick) and Joy try to step in to "help." There will be mobsters, mistaken identities, special guest stars, and twists and turns - all LIVE, when anything can happen.

"Hot in Cleveland" revolves around three fabulous best friends from LA - Melanie Moretti, Joy Scroggs and Victoria Chase - who find their lives changed forever when their plane, headed for Paris, makes an unexpected landing. When the friends discover that life is better in Cleveland, they decide to stay. Starting over together, they rent a house that happens to come with a very opinionated caretaker, Elka Ostrovsky.

The sitcom is executive produced by Emmy(R) Award-winner Sean Hayes ("Will And Grace") and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions and is helmed by Emmy(R) Award-winning Suzanne Martin ("Frasier," "Ellen") serving as executive producer, show runner and writer. Lynda Obst also serves as executive producer, and Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox are executive producers for TV Land. "Hot in Cleveland" is currently seen around the world in over 165 countries.
