THE LEFTOVERS (HBO/Warner Bros.; W: Damon Lindelof & Tom Perrotta; D: Peter Berg) - Carrie Coon, Ann Dowd, Christopher Eccleston and Amanda Warren are the latest to board the drama pilot, which asks what would happen if The Rapture actually took place and millions of people just disappeared from the Earth. Coon will play Nora Durst, "a wife and mother who is suddenly neither"; with Dowd as Patti Levin, "leader of the local chapter of the Guilty Remnant, an organization that is somewhere between a cult and a movement"; Eccleston as Matt Jamison, "former Reverend and current editor of his self-published tabloid"; and Warren as Lucy Warburton, "Mapleton's take-no-prisoners mayor." Justin Theroux also stars. (Deadline.com)

He'll play Erich Blunt, "the cocky, spectacularly wealthy CEO of Applicon, a tech genius." Bess Rous, Ian Anthony Dale, Kathleen Robertson, Mimi Kirkland, Raphael Sbarge, Steven Weber and Taye Diggs also star in the hour. (Deadline.com)
