WE tv CELEBRATES A BIRTH, A BIRTHDAY AND TWO RENEWALS

Women's Network Renews its Popular Originals Tamar & Vince and Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?

NEW YORK, NY - June 11, 2013 - WE tv is celebrating milestones alongside its talent as the network renewed its popular docu-series Tamar & Vince for a second season and Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? for a fourth season. The news comes on the heels of the arrival of Tamar and Vince's baby boy and Joan Rivers' 80th birthday - which will both be covered in new seasons of their WE tv shows. Tamar & Vince (10x60) will premiere Thursday, September 5 at 9 pm ET; Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? (8x60) will debut in early 2014.

"Tamar, Joan and Melissa are talented, refreshing women that we're delighted to have on WE tv for new seasons of their popular shows," said Lauren Gellert, WE tv's SVP of original production & development. "These are real women dealing with real issues in the scrutiny of the spotlight with style and grace, and we are so happy WE tv viewers will again be along for these entertaining rides."

Joan Rivers commented, "Melissa and I are so excited. If you thought the first 3 seasons were wild, just wait until you see what's going to go on in season 4."

The second season of Tamar & Vince will give viewers a peek at the making of Tamar's new album, "Love and War," including her first two, break-out singles "Love and War" and "The One." The show will also document Tamar's pregnancy and the arrival of the couple's first child. Season one of Tamar & Vince delivered 5.6 million total viewers on WE tv and ranked as the #1 show on Thursday nights among African American W18-49 and W25-54[i].

Tamar & Vince is produced for WE tv by Magical Elves Productions (Top Chef, Project Runway, Fashion Star) and executive produced by Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, and Julio Kollerbohm. The executive producer for WE tv is Annabelle McDonald.

Season four of Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? will be no-holds-barred with the mother-daughter duo kicking it up yet another notch with their antics and access to celebrity friends. Viewers will see Joan become a minister to marry a celebrity friend; Melissa looks into adopting a child; and we'll get some behind-the-scenes of Joan's new online talk show "In Bed with Joan" (http://inbedwithjoan.com) shot at Melissa's house with A-List celebrities.

Season three of Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? delivered over 4.6 million total viewers to WE tv[ii]. The show is a strong addition to WE tv's line-up of original programming that spotlights modern women who are taking charge of their lives. The series is produced by Pie Town Productions (House Hunters) and executive produced by Tara Sandler, Jennifer Davidson and Scott Templeton. Suzanne Murch serves as the executive producer for WE tv.
