TLC TO AIR "BREAKING AMISH: BRAVE NEW WORLD" TWO-PART AFTER SHOW

-"Breaking Amish: Brave New World: The Shunning Truth" airs Sunday, July 7 and Sunday, July 14 at 10/9c-

On Sunday, July 7 and Sunday, July 14 at 10/9c, TLC will air BREAKING AMISH: BRAVE NEW WORLD: THE SHUNNING TRUTH, a two-part after show where the group featured in BREAKING AMISH: BRAVE NEW WORLD tell all about their highs and lows in Sarasota, FL. Throughout the after show, Sabrina, Abe, Rebecca, Kate, and Jeremiah look back at their time together in Florida and tackle more rumors and sensitive questions about their relationships with each other and their new lives outside of the Amish and Mennonite communities. Mary and Katie Ann join the group to discuss their trip to Sarasota and where they are today. The cast is also confronted by surprise guests about disagreements in Florida and overall unresolved issues as tempers flare, major secrets are revealed, and people walk off set as emotions run higher than ever. From the Jeremiah-Kym-Sabrina love triangle and the lingering tension between Kate and some of her former housemates, to the palpable family turmoil between Rebecca, Abe, and the rest of his family, no subject is off the table in this explosive two-hour special. A few big announcements are also made throughout the show. BREAKING AMISH: BRAVE NEW WORLD: THE SHUNNING TRUTH is hosted by NBC's Michelle Beadle.

In season one of BREAKING AMISH, TLC introduced viewers to five young men and women who chose to leave their sheltered Amish and Mennonite lives to experience New York City together for the first time. The series broke records for the network, becoming the best performing freshman series ever. In the spin-off series BREAKING AMISH: BRAVE NEW WORLD, Sabrina, Abe, Rebecca, Kate and Jeremiah reunite, expecting to make a fresh start in Sarasota, FL - home to a large ex-Amish and Amish community. But, they are surprised to discover even more culture shock and unexpected challenges. The series exposes more relationship conflict, dramatic moments between the roommates, surprise visits, financial struggles and major decisions as this group tries to acclimate to their new "English" lives in yet another unfamiliar city.

BREAKING AMISH: BRAVE NEW WORLD is produced by Hot Snakes Media for TLC.

BREAKING AMISH: BRAVE NEW WORLD: THE SHUNNING TRUTH is produced by Peacock Productions for TLC.
