(Silver Spring, Md.) - Following up on the success of last year's BROWNCOATS UNITE: THE FIREFLY 10th ANNIVERSARY reunion panel, Science Channel today announced its lineup for this year's Comic-Con. On Friday, the network known for smart, lean-forward content will debut its panel for the breakout series OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE, where citizen scientists from around the web walk the line between genius and insanity. A panel featuring experts in topics ranging from the worlds of astrophysics and biology will comment on the unbelievable internet videos created by crazy geniuses from around the globe. On Saturday evening, Science Channel delves into the unknown with a look at the upcoming series THE UNEXPLAINED FILES. Panelists will share eye-witness accounts of blood rain, alien encounters and mysterious meat eaters with Comic-Con crowds for the first time ever.

On Friday, July 19, Science Channel will present OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE where the 'rock stars of science' unlock some of the most extreme experiments found on the internet. Featuring viral videos, the panelists will dissect the most perplexing media footage presented. Ever wonder how a man can successfully jump from a 20-foot platform into a pool with 2-feet of water? Science Channel will offer the audience an explanation of these video sensations from its hit show. Fans will also be able to submit videos and pictures from The Con floor with #CitizenScience, giving them a chance to appear on the big screen during the panel. OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE will air back-to-back episodes on Sunday, August 4 at 4PM ET/PT.

On Saturday, July 20 join the team at Science Channel as they take fans on a mystifying journey with THE UNEXPLAINED FILES. All over the world, people experience mysterious phenomena that puzzle scientists. From spontaneous combustion and UFO sightings to strange loud sounds, possible curses and peculiar afflictions, these troubling happenings seemingly cannot be explained. Before the world premiere debuts this summer, join renowned scientists, eyewitnesses and producers as they present riveting never-before-seen footage.
