SUPERNATURAL (The CW) - The netlet is reportedly developing a spin-off of the veteran drama. It's understood the untitled project will be set up via a backdoor pilot in or around episode 20 this season and "have a more citified feel." Showrunners Robert Singer and Jeremy Carver presumably will executive produce the hour for Warner Bros. Television. (TVLine.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Felicia Day's Charlie Bradbury will visit "Supernatural" for the fourth time this season while co-star Misha Collins will helm an upcoming installment (Deadline.com); David Schulner's comic book "Clone" has been set up as a potential TV series at Universal Television with Robert Kirkman, David Alpert and David Engel also on board to executive produce (Deadline.com); "The Simpsons" will host a crossover with "Futurama" in which "Bender has to come back from the future to kill Bart because there's something that Bart does now that makes the future really, really, really bad" (EW.com); Naveen Andrews has joined "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" as Jafar, the main villain in Disney's 1992 film Aladdin (EW.com); and Stephen Collins has been cast as Rachel's (Elizabeth Mitchell) father on "Revolution" (TVGuide.com).
