SPENDING CHRISTMASTIME SELLING TREES HAS SARAH LANCASTER GOING "FIR CRAZY" A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE FOR HOLIDAY 2013

Part of Hallmark Channel's COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS, the #1 Most Treasured Holiday Destination by Television Viewers; Eric Johnson and Colin Mochrie Co-Star

Sarah Lancaster ("Chuck") stars as a marketing exec turned reluctant Christmas tree peddler in "Fir Crazy," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere for Holiday 2013. Eric Johnson ("Rookie Blue") and Colin Mochrie ("Without a Trace") also star in this holiday film, part of Hallmark Channel's COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS, the #1 most treasured holiday destination by television viewers.

Busy career woman Elise MacReynolds (Lancaster) has no time or desire to take part in Christmas festivities. However, a few twists of fate land Elise in the middle of her worst nightmare: unemployed, newly single and running her family's Christmas tree lot for the dreaded holiday season. As the de facto representative of her family's business, Elise must navigate a contentious relationship with the lot's new landlord, Gary Dixon (Mochrie), who thinks the MacReynolds' lot is hurting his business and wants them gone...fast. But things are looking a little brighter, as the newly single Elise has a budding relationship with Darren (Johnson), one of her customers.

Even with Scrooge for a landlord, Elise begins to embrace the Christmas spirit and her feelings for Darren, as she helps people find the "perfect" trees. The newly festive Elise soon becomes friends with her customers, gives a homeless man a job on the lot and even finds she truly enjoys the holidays. But when her landlord discovers a way to shut down the lot right before Christmas, Elise must use her newly found holiday spirit, her business savvy and help from her new friends to pull off a Christmas miracle.

"Fir Crazy" is a Marianthi Film Production. Mary Pantelidis, Robyn Snyder and Fernando Szew are the executive producers. Matt Freeman and Craig Pryce are the co-executive producers and Michael Stoyanov is the supervising producer. Craig Pryce also directed from a script by Elizabeth Hackett & Hilary Galanoy.
