CNBC PRIME EXPANDS REALITY PROGRAMMING SLATE WITH NEW AND RETURNING SERIES

LOS ANGELES, CA. - July 27, 2013 - CNBC today announced new programming additions to its rapidly expanding unscripted primetime slate, including a series order for "Money Talks," which takes viewers inside the world of sports betting and Steve Stevens, a well-known handicapper who runs VIP Sports in Las Vegas. The one-hour pilot will premiere Tuesday, September 10 at 10pm ET/PT. The network also greenlit the second season of "The Car Chasers," one of the first series to launch on the new CNBC Prime. Season two of "The Car Chasers" premieres Tuesday, October 29 at 10PM ET/PT on CNBC.

"Money Talks" is a docu-soap that follows Steve Stevens, his stable of agents and the clients who risk big dollars in the hope these guys have the expertise to consistently deliver winners. There's a lot on the line as we follow the gamblers who wager a few thousand each week to the whales who routinely make six-figure bets. "Money Talks" is produced by All3 Media America in association with Turn Left Productions and Lost Tribe Productions.

CNBC also renewed "The Car Chasers," which takes viewers into the world of car flipping. Jeff Allen, Perry Barndt and the rest of the team from "Flat 12" in Lubbock, Texas are back in action as they travel the country to find, fix and flip some of the country's wildest rides. The series returns with 16 original half-hour episodes featuring plenty of beautiful cars and transformations, but the real focus is on the wheeling and dealing. "The Car Chasers" is produced by ITV Studios America in association with Leepson Bounds Entertainment and Lost Tribe Productions.

The announcements were made today by Jim Ackerman, CNBC's SVP of Primetime Alternative Programming.

"'The Car Chasers' developed a loyal fan base and we're excited to build off that momentum and grow the show," said Ackerman. "'Money Talks' takes us deep inside the world of sports betting in Las Vegas. It's a world that hasn't been explored in primetime and we're confident that our viewers will be fascinated by this intimate look at high stakes gambling."

CNBC Prime's next reality series, "The Profit," premieres this Tuesday, July 30 at 10PM ET/PT on CNBC.
