FOX SPORTS GOES 1-ON-1 WITH SPORTS' BIGGEST NAMES

Stars of FOX Sports Interview the Biggest Stars in Sports

New York - In today's super-connected world of Twitter, Facebook and the like, fans feel closer to the athletes they watch than ever before. However, these social interactions offer only small pieces of what life is really like for the man or woman competing on the field. FOX SPORTS 1-ON-1, a half-hour program airing on FOX Sports 1, America's new sports network, bridges that gap, as the stars of FOX Sports interview the biggest stars in sports, going in-depth with some of sports' top figures.

The FOX SPORTS 1-ON-1 series offers a rare forum for some of the biggest names in sports to share their insight, reflections and opinions on their careers and lives. The first episode pairs two all-time NFL greats and Super Bowl XLII opponents, as FOX Sports' Michael Strahan sits down with legendary New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The episode premieres the day of FOX Sports 1's launch, Saturday, Aug. 17, at 2:30 PM ET.

"FOX SPORTS 1-ON-1 is as close to live and uncut as you can get," said FOX Sports Executive Producer John Entz. "It gives fans an up-close and personal look at some of their favorite sports heroes, done in a way that only FOX Sports can, with our unique point of view and credible and entertaining hosts."

In addition to Strahan and Brady, some of the upcoming FOX SPORTS 1-ON-1 features include Curt Menefee with Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson; John Lynch with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and Chris Myers with NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley.

FOX SPORTS 1-ON-1 is produced by PT Navarro.
