OXYGEN MEDIA LAUNCHES ITS FIRST INSTAGRAM SERIES FEATURING EXCLUSIVE CONTENT FROM ORIGINAL SHOWS

NEW YORK - August 14, 2013 - Oxygen Media announced today a unique initiative with Instagram to launch "Oxygen's Daily OxyGram" (working title), a series of videos featuring exclusive, never-before-seen content from the network's original shows including "Best Ink" season three, "The Face" season two and "Bad Girls Club" Miami. The 15-second serialized vignettes will roll out six days a week through the "@oxygenmedia" Instagram account, giving fans a fun, intimate and behind-the-scenes look into their favorite series. "Oxygen's Daily OxyGram" will kick-off today with exclusive footage from the new season of "BGC" and will simultaneously be published to the "BGC" Facebook page.

"Oxygen viewers are passionately active on social media and this exclusive content allows us to super serve our fan base by delivering bonus scenes on the popular platform and provide an enhanced viewing experience through Instagram," said Harleen Kahlon, Senior Vice President of Digital at Oxygen Media.

Daniel Tibbets, SVP of Digital Media at Bunim/Murray Productions added, "We saw Instagram as a huge opportunity to expand the social footprint of our shows, to reach a highly engaged audience and drive our stories forward. Working with Oxygen, we have a strong history of social media innovation, and we're thrilled that the Instagram series will be executed across numerous shows, including 'Best Ink' and 'BGC.'"

Oxygen continues to be social media trendsetter and a leading force in engaging modern young women, wherever they are, with popular, award winning features online. Oxygen ranks as the #3 most social network for cable reality programming in primetime, with 4.3 million social comments driven by 2.4 million authors this year to-date, according to BlueFin Signals. In April, Oxygen began integrating animated GIFs from popular social blogging platform Tumblr into the original programming schedule with tattoo competition series "Best Ink." The network also hosts live GIF parties on Tumblr to accompany original programming including "The Face," "Best Ink," and "BGC." Earlier this year, Oxygen launched the first-ever live Google + Hangout during a reality broadcast with "The Face." In addition, Oxygen in association with Bunim/Murray Productions and Youtoo Technologies also offered a unique opportunity for fans to record a ten-second video in response to three questions posed for a chance to see their own video air live on TV within the three-part reunion.

"Best Ink" and "BGC" are produced by Bunim/Murray Productions. "The Face" is produced by Shine America.
