NEW YORK, August 15, 2013 - COMEDY CENTRAL is bringing back the sketch-comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele for a third season of the hit series "Key & Peele," airing Wednesday, September 18 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT with 13 new episodes, following "South Park." In the new season "Key & Peele" once again offers up a hilarious look at the world utilizing the stars' lively chemistry and smart observations. Several classic characters from the first two seasons, including Hingle McCringleberry and Ozamataz Buckshank; Karim and Jahar; Wendell and Mr. Garvey, will return along with new, entertaining personalities guaranteed to make you laugh. Fans can also tune in September 11 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT for a special episode filmed in their Hollywood production offices, as Key and Peele look back at some of the fan's favorite sketches from past seasons. In addition, viewers will get a sneak peek at season three. "Key & Peele" received its first Emmy(R) nomination for Outstanding Make-up for a Multi-Camera Series or Special (Non-Prosthetic).

Viewers can look forward to the return of Obama and his anger translator Luther, plus an array of guest stars including James Callis, Jason Schwartzman, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and YouTube sensation Freddie Wong. "Key & Peele" continues to satirize issues including marriage, gun rights, race and sex.

In the second season, the series averaged 1.5 million viewers each week and was number one in its timeslot with Men 18-34 and Men 18-24 in all of television (source: Nielsen Media Research, most current data, 9/26/12 - 11/14/12, original telecasts only).

"Key & Peele" features Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, who are best known for their impressive ability for improv, celebrity impressions and conjuring up original characters. The show utilizes a combination of filmed sketches and live stage segments to examine life in a provocative and irreverent way, from two men used to being on the outside looking in. Whether it's satirizing the President, spoofing musical acts, or taking on religion, "Key & Peele" showcases their chemistry, camaraderie and unique point of view, born from their shared background and experiences growing up biracial in a not quite post-racial world.

Leading up to the premiere, COMEDY CENTRAL will provide viewers with weekly Web exclusive preview trailers viewable on cc.com and the COMEDY CENTRAL YouTube channel, where they have become a digital sensation with sketches amassing more than 270 million views, with such popular skits like "Substitute Teacher," "East/West Bowl" and "Obama Loses His SH*T." Viewers can also check out the official show Twitter account "@ObamaTranslated" which will highlight comments from the real President Obama translated by Luther himself, as well as updates from the show. "Key & Peele's" biggest fans, Vandaveon and Mike, will also return to give weekly YouTube reaction videos to each week's episode. Fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of "Key & Peele" by visiting the show's Facebook page, which will feature exclusive pictures from the production of Season three and a peak into the "Key & Peele" offices.

Beginning on Thursday, September 19 each episode of "Key & Peele" will be available in HD the day-after-air on iTunes, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu and Samsung Media Hub.

Credits for the series include Key, Peele, Ian Roberts, Jay Martel and Joel Zadak as Executive Producers. Gary Mann is the Executive in Charge of Production for COMEDY CENTRAL.
