VH1 REAPS A HARVEST OF NEW SERIES AND RETURNING FAVORITES THIS FALL

VH1's Original Movie "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story," "LeAnn & Eddie," "Miami Monkey" and Rock Doc "Pearl Jam Twenty" Debut "Black Ink Crew" and "Best Week Ever" Return

NEW YORK, NY, - August 27, 2013 - VH1 is enjoying a crop of new and well-seasoned faces this fall. Keke Palmer, Lil Mama and Drew Sidora are cast for VH1's original movie, "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story," based on the life and career of superstar music group TLC. Fall will also bring the newest installment of VH1's "Rock Doc" franchise, "Pearl Jam Twenty," which intimately charts the seminal band Pearl Jam's journey to stardom. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian balance work with co-parenting Eddie's sons in their new VH1 original series "LeAnn & Eddie." Additionally, "Mob Wives" fan favorite Big Ang and daughter Raquel take the Miami party scene by storm and open a South Beach branch of her Staten Island bar in "Miami Monkey."

Popular fan favorites are also turning over new leaves. Black Ink opens its doors again for another season of vibrant characters and craziness as VH1's "Black Ink Crew" redraws the line between friendship and family. Although days become shorter in the fall, there is never a shortage of pop culture happenings and hilarity. Every Friday, VH1's "Best Week Ever" celebrates and satirizes the biggest and most outrageous moments in a weekly rundown.

PREMIERES:

"Miami Monkey" Premieres Sunday, September 8 at 10:00 PM*

VH1 mixes up the ultimate cocktail of work + play with the premiere of "Miami Monkey." "Mob Wives" resident party girl Big Ang heads to the sizzling south to make her mark on the Miami party scene by opening up the second outpost of her infamous Staten Island bar, The Drunken Monkey. To ensure the success of "Miami Monkey" as the newest South Beach hotspot, Ang enlists the help of a crew of Staten Island beauties, including her daughter Raquel, as well as a group of SoBe hotties to come along for the ride. The heat is on when fiery New York personalities and sexy South Beach locals work side by side to launch a new business. Will Ang's dreams of success in the Sunshine State come true? Or will she return to Staten Island disappointed and broke?

Developed from a concept by executive producer Jennifer Graziano of JustJenn Productions, "Miami Monkey" is also produced by The Weinstein Company (Bob Weinstein, Harvey Weinstein, David Glasser and Meryl Poster), Electus (Ben Silverman, Jimmy Fox) and Left/Right (Banks Tarver, Ken Druckerman, and Nina L. Diaz), with Electus International distributing the series internationally. Executive producers for VH1 include Shelly Tatro, Kari McFarland, and Rick Hankey. Sean Gottlieb serves as supervising producer for VH1.

"Pearl Jam Twenty" Premieres Saturday, October 12 at 10:00 PM*

"Pearl Jam Twenty," directed by Cameron Crowe, premieres October 12, 2013 at 10 pm on VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia. The film chronicles the years leading up to the band's formation, the chaos that ensued during their rise to mega-stardom and their conscious decision to step back from center stage, away from the bright lights of fame. Told in big themes and bold colors with blistering sound, the film is carved from over 1,200 hours of rarely-seen and never-before seen footage spanning the band's career. "Pearl Jam Twenty" is the definitive portrait of Pearl Jam: part concert film, part intimate insider-hang, part testimonial to the power of music and uncompromising artists.

"Pearl Jam Twenty" is directed and produced by Cameron Crowe and executive produced by Michele Anthony. Overseeing the Rock Docs franchise for VH1 are Warren Cohen, Stephen Mintz, Brad Abramson and Shelly Tatro.

"CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" Premieres Monday, October 21 at 9PM*

In the early 1990s, TLC's humble beginnings in Atlanta quickly led to an unprecedented rise to fame as one of the world's most talented, celebrated and biggest-selling female groups of all time. VH1's original movie, "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story," chronicles the full TLC story and how the group left an indelible stamp of female empowerment that changed the face of the music industry forever. The film stars KeKe Palmer ("Akeelah and the Bee," "True Jackson, VP," "Joyful Noise") as Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Lil Mama ("America's Best Dance Crew") stars as the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Drew Sidora ("Step Up," "Wild Hogs," "The Game") plays Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins. Charles Stone III ("Drumline," "Paid in Full," "Mr. 3000") directs the biopic, which is penned by screenwriter Kate Lanier ("What's Love Got To Do With It," "Set it Off," "Beauty Shop").

The two surviving members of the group, Chilli and T-Boz, are consultants and executive producers for the film. Executive producing the TLC biopic are Bill Diggins and Maggie Malina. Rick Krim and Jill Holmes serve as executive producers for VH1. Alexander A. Motlagh serves as executive producer for Pop Films.

"LeAnn & Eddie" Premieres December 2013

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have both been famous in their own right for years, but it wasn't until they were a couple that the tabloids became enamored with their every move. Joining forces with VH1, their new show will bring the truth and make fun of all the gossip. "LeAnn & Eddie" is set to premiere on VH1 in December 2013 with 6 half-hour episodes.

Inside the sanctity of their world they are a typical normal modern family -- a married couple, who both have careers and are also learning how to navigate the co-parenting of Eddie's two sons. Life outside the home for them is very different because they live in a fishbowl where the paparazzi stalk them, the tabloids report on any detail and the public gets only part of the real story. With "LeAnn & Eddie," they look forward to sharing a bit of their world and poke fun at what it's like to be a high-profile couple with more than a little misinformation out there about them.

"LeAnn & Eddie" will be executive produced by Scott and Deirdre Gurney for Gurney Productions (Duck Dynasty). LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian will also serve as executive producers for Country Cuban Productions, Inc. Also serving as executive producers are John Ferriter for Octagon Entertainment and Scotty Abrams for Maniac Filmworks and Music. Executive producing for VH1 is Jill Holmes.

RETURNING SERIES:

"Black Ink Crew " Premieres Monday, September 23 at 9:30 PM*

"Black Ink Crew" is back for a second season and they are leaving their indelible mark in the heart of Harlem. With the shop's newfound success, stress levels are through the roof. Self-proclaimed "power couple" Dutchess and Ceaser make their relationship visibly permanent with matching "King" and "Queen" tattoos, while Cease and Puma's 15-year friendship fades away. O'S**t's court visit sparks terrifying tempers at an all-too-real family gathering where both promises and tables are broken. Alex and her opinions are back and bringing the feistiness despite creating even more friction amongst members of the crew. The struggles of running a business intensify when drama is part of everyday shop life. As boundaries are overstepped, rumors fly and arguments erupt, this season is sure to show that family, romance and ink aren't equally everlasting.

"Black Ink Crew" is executive produced by Dan Cesareo, Doug DePriest and Ken Martinez for Big Fish Entertainment. Executive producers for VH1 are Shelly Tatro, Kari McFarland and Rick Hankey.

"Best Week Ever" Premieres Friday, September 20 at 10PM*

VH1's beloved weekly rundown "Best Week Ever" is back for another hilariously irreverent season.
