Competition Escalates Sept. 3 With Second Semifinal Performance Telecast

NEW YORK - Aug. 29, 2013 - Multiplatinum-selling rock band Fall Out Boy will perform its hit single "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)" on NBC's "America's Got Talent" results show, Wednesday, Sept. 4 (9-10 p.m. ET).

Season six finalist iLuminate will also give an electrifying performance during the broadcast.

Fall Out Boy's current album, "Save Rock and Roll", debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and hit #1 in 27 countries. Single "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" is double platinum and a certified radio smash. Fall Out Boy will kick off their US Arena tour on Sept. 5th at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. "Save Rock and Roll" is the Grammy-nominated band's fifth studio album and their second #1 debut.

iLuminate is an entertainment company that combines state-of-the-art technology with electrifying entertainers dancing in the dark to create the ultimate performing arts experience. iLuminate wowed the nation with their groundbreaking light suits on the sixth season of "America's Got Talent" and then took to the road, performing for awestruck crowds around the world. Miral Kotb's newest production of "iLuminate: Artist of Light" opened at New York City's New World Stages in June for an extended run. The show has been performing to packed houses all summer and was recently featured in the New York Times.

"America's Got Talent" stages the second semifinal performance show on Tuesday, Sept. 3 (9-11 p.m. ET) where 12 of the top 24 acts will perform for America's vote. Six will move on to complete the top 12 acts that will appear on the Sept. 10 performance show (9-11 p.m. ET), joining the previous six contestants already voted through - Cami Bradley, Catapult Entertainment, Collins Key, Forte, Innovative Force and Taylor Williamson.
