First Primetime Emmy Awards Presenters Announced
Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, both five-time Primetime Emmy(R) Award nominees, are the first presenters announced.

EMMY(R) AWARD NOMINEES AND OSCAR(R) WINNERS MICHAEL DOUGLAS AND MATT DAMON ANNOUNCED AS PRESENTERS AT THE "65TH PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS," TO BE BROADCAST SEPT. 22 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, both five-time Primetime Emmy(R) Award nominees, are the first presenters announced for the 65TH PRIMETIME EMMY(R) AWARDS. This marks the first time that Douglas and Damon have presented at the Emmy Awards. In total, "Behind the Candelabra," for which both Douglas and Damon are nominated this year for the roles of Liberace and Scott Thorson respectively, received 15 nominations. The 65TH PRIMETIME EMMY(R) AWARDS will be broadcast live across the country 8:00-11:00 PM ET/ 5:00-8:00 PM PT from NOKIA Theater L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, Sunday, Sept. 22 on the CBS Television Network.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS - Nominee this year for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie ("Behind the Candelabra"). Previously, he was nominated in 2002 for Outstanding Guest Star in a Comedy Series ("Will & Grace") as well as for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama ("The Streets of San Francisco") in 1974, and Outstanding Continuing Performance by a Supporting Actor ("The Streets of San Francisco") in 1975 and 1976.

MATT DAMON - Nominee this year for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie ("Behind the Candelabra"). Previously, he was nominated in 2011 for Outstanding Guest Star in a Comedy Series ("30 Rock") as well as one of the nominated producers for Outstanding Non-Fiction Program ("Project Greenlight") in 2002 and Outstanding Reality Program ("Project Greenlight") in 2004 and 2005.
