Please note the following schedule changes to the Discovery Channel primetime line-up:
JUNGLE GOLD's behind-the-scenes special will air this Friday, Sept. 6, at 8 PM. The 2-hour season finale of JUNGLE GOLD will follow from 9-11 PM. In the high-charged finale, fortune seekers George and Scott (along with the production crew) are attacked by armed militia and forced to make an emergency evacuation.
The final two episodes of ALASKAN STEEL MEN will air this Sunday, Sept. 8, beginning at 9 PM. The series follows master welder Dennis Butts and his crew through the harsh environment of Kodiak, Alaska, with some of the most dangerous welding jobs anywhere.

Master welder Dennis Butts and his team must make an emergency trip by plane to repair a crack in the hull of the Marcy J. Can they make it in time before the engine room completely floods? Then, Kodiak's only hydro-electric plant has an emergency shutdown that could cause a major blackout in the middle of the Alaskan winter. Dennis and George rush to make the tricky repairs to this one-of-a-kind turbine part. Meanwhile, accounts manager Theresa enlists Scottie's help to teach a deadbeat captain a lesson he will never forget.

SEASON FINALE: ALASKAN STEEL MEN - "Fire and Ice"

In the final episode of ALASKAN STEEL MEN, Dennis Butts and his team of master welders find themselves caught up in a series of major white-knuckle crises. A barge off the coast of Anchorage is leaking after getting struck by a large chunk of ice. Dennis and fellow welder Scottie rush to the scene, but the repair goes terribly wrong. Can they fight against the surging seawater and make the repair before completely sinking? Back in Kodiak, Cooper gets his first assignment and is forced to work with a demanding skipper. Meanwhile, accounts manager Theresa teaches Dean how to settle financial disputes face-to-face. But while driving to see a customer, the two get stuck in deep snow on a remote mountain with no help in sight.
