truTV Ready to Heat Things Up with Seven Returning Shows, Plus a New Series and a Major Guest Appearance

Impractical Jokers Welcomes Special Guests Imagine Dragons, While truTV Prepares to Get Scary with New Challenge Series Panic Button

As the temperatures drop, truTV is ready to heat things up this fall and winter with a packed slate of seven returning shows and the premiere of the frightfully fun challenge series Panic Button. But first, truTV's hit series Impractical Jokers is going to get the party started with a special guest appearance by chart-topping "Radioactive" rockers Imagine Dragons on Thursday, Oct. 24.

truTV's new series Panic Button is set to premiere Thursday, Dec. 5. In this unique competition, contestants must face their worst fears in a haunted house that knows what scares them. Those who aren't bold enough to move forward need only push a button to escape.

Returning series on truTV's fall-winter slate include South Beach Tow, which will launch its third season on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Three more truTV series are set to return the following week. Storage Hunters will kick off the second half of its third season on Tuesday, Nov. 5; first-season hit Guinness World Records(R) Unleashed, hosted by Dan Cortese, will come back with new episodes on Thursday, Nov. 7; and World's Dumbest... will launch its 16th season on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Rounding out truTV's fall-winter 2013 lineup, Full Throttle Saloon is revving up for season 5, which starts Monday, Dec. 2. Lizard Lick Towing will hitch up its fourth season beginning Monday, Dec. 16. Breakout hit Hardcore Pawn will return for its eighth season on Tuesday, Dec. 17. And to get the New Year off to a great start, Impractical Jokers will launch its third season on Thursday, Jan. 2.

The following are the fall-winter 2013 highlights for truTV.

Impractical Jokers - With a Special Appearance by Imagine Dragons on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT): Thursday, Jan. 2, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

Imagine Dragons, the alternative rock band that topped the charts this summer with the hit song "Radioactive," are set to make an appearance in a special episode of truTV's hilarious hidden-camera series Impractical Jokers on Oct. 24. Airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Impractical Jokers features four longtime friends - Brian "Q" Quinn, James "Murr" Murray, Joe Gatto and Sal Vulcano - who take dares to an outrageous level. Ever since they were teenagers, these four guys have challenged one another to do the most ridiculous public dares imaginable. Now, to find out who's best under pressure, they're competing in unbelievably awkward and outrageous hidden-camera hijinks. And at the end of each episode, the loser must attempt the most mortifying challenge ever, which in the case of the Oct. 24 episode means performing as the opening act at a sold-out Imagine Dragons concert, despite a complete lack of musical ability. Members of Imagine Dragons, who are fans of the show, join the non-losing jokers backstage and get in on the fun. Billboard magazine named Imagine Dragons "The Breakthrough Band of 2013," and Rolling Stone magazine called their single "Radioactive" "the biggest rock hit of the year." Impractical Jokers comes to truTV from NorthSouth Productions (Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta and Double Divas).

South Beach Tow - Season 3 Premiere: Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

There's no free parking in this sizzling series about Miami's Tremont Towing. With 8 million people coming to South Beach to party each year, it seems every day is spring break. The problem? There aren't nearly enough parking spaces to handle all the cars. In season 3 of South Beach Tow, Christie adjusts to her new role as boss of Tremont Towing and fights to command respect as a powerful woman in a male-dominated profession. Along the way, she has to contend with brother Robbie, who takes secret steps to break away from the family business for good, and scheming Perez, who discovers a new opportunity to leverage Tremont for his own benefit. Meanwhile, Bernice overcomes a devastating injury to forge a professional alliance with Christie that annoys the other drivers. After a humiliating repo debacle, Kosgrove vows to pursue a healthier lifestyle and finds himself drawn into the dramatic world of online dating. And an office outburst forces Eddie to explore more unorthodox methods of anger management, while newlywed Jerome struggles to hold his marriage together in the face of temptation and a shocking deception. The Tremont team may be a family, but the dollar reigns supreme, making for hilarious confrontations and unpredictable situations, all taking place under the hot Miami sun. South Beach Tow is produced for truTV by Bodega Pictures and Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions (DanceLife).

Storage Hunters - New Episodes Begin Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

truTV's hit series Storage Hunters returns for the second half of its third season with more outrageous adventures in the cut-throat world of public storage auctions. The series centers on highly competitive and extremely successful finders of great storage treasures. First up are Brandon and Lori Bernier, the dynamic couple at the head of their own company called Beantown Bidders. Widely known as some of the best in the business, Brandon and Lori travel the country to attend more than a thousand auctions each year. Competing against the Berniers for the best storage treasures is Jesse McClure, a young starter who has already managed to develop multiple revenue streams through his finds. Also featured are Sean Kelly, a military veteran who has put his stand-up comedy skills to great use as an auctioneer; rough-around-the-edges "Papa Bear," who moonlights as a pipefitter and barber; and trash-talking former security guard Tarrell "T-Money" Wright, who brought his Detroit street-smarts to Los Angeles in search of better auction goods and more money. Joining Storage Hunters this season is Mone Smith, who really knows how to bring her funky style to the swift game of storage auctions. Storage Hunters comes to truTV from T Group Productions, Inc.

Guinness World Records(R) Unleashed - New Episodes Begin Thursday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)

First-season hit Guinness World Records(R) Unleashed, hosted by Dan Cortese (Veronica's Closet, Surviving Suburbia, MTV Sports), is back with more daring and fearless record hopefuls as they attempt to secure their place in history by breaking some truly outrageous world records. Now in Guinness World Records(R) Unleashed, the curtain is drawn back to reveal what really goes on when the most unbelievable, jaw-dropping records are attempted. In addition to host Dan Cortese, the series features Stuart Claxton, the show's primary Guinness World Records adjudicator. Liz Smith, also of Guinness World Records, and actor/musician Zach Selwyn (Greek, Battleship) provide commentary on the action. Guinness World Records(R) Unleashed is produced for truTV by High Noon Entertainment.

Full Throttle Saloon - Season 5 Premiere: Monday, Dec. 2, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

Full Throttle Saloon returns for its fifth season with more behind-the-sceneshavoc at Michael Ballard's enormous, 30-acre indoor/outdoor wateringhole during South Dakota's annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, one of the biggest biker rallies in the world. Each year, "The Throttle" has nine days to generate enough cash to cover its 300 employees. The expansive venue features large and small performance stages, a burn-out pit, a tattoo parlor, a wrestling ring, restaurants, dozens of stores, hundreds of cabins for rent and parking for the thousands of bikers who come to town for the annual motorcycle fest. Ballard's business partner, Jesse James Dupree, will be back this season to attempt another daring, dangerous stunt. He'll also perform with his band, Jackyl. Full Throttle Saloon is produced by A. Smith & Co. Productions, Dupree's Mighty Loud Entertainment and Cheyenne Enterprises.

NEW SERIES: Panic Button - Series Premiere: Thursday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT)

Would you completely panic if you had to make it through a haunted house that not only knows your deepest fears, but also talks to you? That's what the contestants will face on Panic Button, the new truTV challenge show that will find out who's bold enough to move forward or scared enough to hit the Panic Button. truTV has ordered 12 half-hour episodes of this series, which is being produced by Eleven Television.

Lizard Lick Towing - Season 4 Premiere: Monday, Dec. 16, at 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT)

One of truTV's biggest hits is back for the second half of its third season. Lizard Lick Towing is named after Ron & Amy Shirley's Wendell, N.C., towing and repo company, which they run with the help of Ron's best buddy, Bobby Brantley. Ron Shirley is the hulking, tattooed owner and boss who has a colorful way of turning a phrase. His wife, Amy, a former champion power lifter, works the main office. And Bobby acts as Ron's right-hand man as they go about the difficult task of tracking down and repossessing property and dealing with irate owners. Lizard Lick Towing comes to truTV from Zodiak New York.

Hardcore Pawn - Season 8 Premiere: Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT)

truTV's highest-rated series is back for its eighth season as it takes viewers behind the scenes at one of the country's largest pawnshops, American Jewelry & Loan, owned by the appropriately named Les Gold. Working for - and sometimes clashing with - Les are his son, Seth, who is being groomed to eventually take over the business, and Les' daughter, Ashley, who doesn't think Seth is up to the job. The new season starts with some bad blood between Les and Seth that could lead to a devastating betrayal - but only one man knows the shocking truth. Hardcore Pawn is produced by Zodiak New York.
