ABC Announces November Sweeps Programming
Highlights include a special "Shark Tank"-themed episode of "The Neighbors."

ABC ANNOUNCES NOVEMBER SWEEPS PROGRAMMING

The ABC Television Network announces highlights of its upcoming November sweeps programming, including the highly anticipated special, "David Blaine: Real or Magic," along with "The 47th Annual CMA Awards," "2013 American Music Awards," a special "Shark Tank"-themed episode of "The Neighbors" and Thanksgiving-themed episodes of some of TV's favorite series.

"THE VIEW" - November 18-22 is going to be a magical week as ABC's "The View" broadcasts live from the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California." "The View from Disneyland Resort" coincides with Mickey Mouse's birthday on November 18. Jimmy Kimmel, host of ABC's hit late-night talk show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live," is the show's premiere guest. Multi-talented Demi Lovato will perform and is slated to guest co-host for the entire week. Guests for the week include Eric Stonestreet (ABC's "Modern Family"), Tim Allen (ABC's "Last Man Standing") and Kobe Bryant. Featured male co-hosts sprinkled throughout the month will include: Donald Driver, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Joe Scarborough, Cedric the Entertainer and three consecutive appearances from funny man Brad Garrett. A birthday celebration and one very special surprise is in store for co-host Jenny McCarthy when welcoming her childhood idols Olivia Newton-John and Lynda Carter. Double, double toil and trouble! Let the mischief and mayhem commence on Halloween as "ghoulfriends" Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd welcome Jenny McCarthy to their annual festivities live Thursday, October 31. It will be a one-of-a kind trick or treat that only "The View" can deliver. And that's not just 'witch'ful thinking. New installments of featured segments "Out of The World With Whoopi," showcasing Whoopi's fascination with the paranormal, revealing one-on-one interviews in "Secrets with.......Barbara," romance and relationships are explored in "Kiss and Tell with Jenny" and "The Year of Barbara" looks back at her illustrious career, and her most talked about, headline breaking stories. "The View" airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., ET).

"THE CHEW" - "The Chew" is your holiday headquarters this season, starting with frightfully delicious fun during the show's annual Halloween Spooktacular (Thursday, October 31). Who will the co-hosts dress up as this year? "Thanksgiving Cooking Challenge Week" is a culinary competition beginning Monday, November 4 - Friday November 8 when chefs ranging from kids to Iron Grandmas compete for bragging rights and a golden trophy. Brush up on all the essentials when "Thanksgiving Back to Basics Week," (Monday, November 11) finds the hosts teaching Thanksgiving feast preparation. From appetizers and sides, to the main event and cocktails, "The Chew" celebrates Thanksgiving Cooking Class Week from Monday, November 18 - Friday, November 22. Since Hannukah falls during Thanksgiving this year, the hosts observe the Festival of Lights and Turkey Day during "Thanksgivukkah" on Tuesday, November 26. This holiday mash-up offers the best of both holidays. November culminates with "The Chew's Ultimate Thanksgiving" as the hosts collaborate to create one unforgettable feast and "The Chew" gives a military family a holiday they'll never forget. "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" - Jimmy Kimmel kicks off November sweeps with Chris Hemsworth, Mindy Kaling, Dax Shepard, Demi Lovato, Dr. Phil McGraw, Rob Lowe, Zooey Deschanel, Ray Romano, Sarah Silverman, Barbara Walters, Elizabeth Banks, Larry King, Idris Elba and Patton Oswalt. Musical performances from Rob Zombie, Small Pools, No No No, Jane's Addiction, The Killers, Charlie Wilson, Haim, Florida Georgia Line, The 1975, Chvrches, Frank Turner and Linkin Park and Steve Aoki. "IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN" - The classic animated Halloween-themed PEANUTS special, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (OAD on ABC 10/30/01), created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, as well as a bonus PEANUTS cartoon, "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown," in which Linus runs for class president, will air THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). The program will air with Spanish audio via SAP. In the 1966 animated special "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," The PEANUTS gang celebrates Halloween, with Linus hoping that, finally, he will be visited by The Great Pumpkin, while Charlie Brown is invited to a Halloween party. Cast members include Peter Robbins (Charlie Brown) and Christopher Shea (Linus). The cast also includes Sally Dryer as Lucy, Chris Doran as Schroeder, Bill Melendez as Snoopy, Kathy Steinberg as Sally, Tracy Stratford as Violet and Ann Altieri as Frieda. "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown" - in which Linus runs for class president with Lucy and Charlie Brown managing his campaign -- features Chad Webber as Charlie Brown, Robin Kohn as Lucy, Stephen Shea as Linus, Hilary Momberger as Sally and Todd Barbee as Russell.

"GREY'S ANATOMY" - "Thriller" - It's Halloween and the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial are hit with a barrage of spooky patients, which affects their own plans and puts one doctor's well-being in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Derek collaborates with Ben on a new surgical technique, and Richard angers Bailey when he asks a second year resident to perform his next surgery, on a special Halloween episode of "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET).

"SCANDAL" - "More Cattle, Less Bull" - The team investigates Democratic Congresswoman Josie Marcus, while Olivia and Mellie have a surprising run-in during the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Meanwhile, Jake and Huck get closer to the truth about Operation Remington, which could lead to devastating results, on ABC's "Scandal," THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET).

"LAST MAN STANDING" - "Larabee for School Board" - Mike is reluctant to support his neighbor, Carol Larabee, in her bid for the local school board. "SHARK TANK" - "Episode 501" - Two men from St. Louis have a line of safe, natural cleaning products - but will they clean up when it comes to a deal? A New Yorker inspired by cups at frat parties hopes for a $300,000 investment in his standard party cup with a hidden shot glass inside. An entrepreneur from Pleasanton, California has an electric, lightweight bodyboard which he claims could be the hottest new thing in water sports - will a Shark bite? And an entrepreneur from Arcadia, Florida, is pitching a tented root cover for newly planted trees that he claims will save farmers thousands of dollars in fuel and water. And the show updates viewers on last season's Teddy Needs a Bath - a product from Nicole Townsend of Huntington Beach, CA, that helps clean stuffed animals safely. "THE GOLDBERGS" - "Call Me When You Get There" - When Barry receives his first driver's license, Beverly lays out the rules about using the car, including the most important... "Call me when you get there!" After Barry disobeys his mother and gets in trouble, he takes Erica's advice to not tell the truth about his whereabouts - no matter where he is - the next time he calls home... but it backfires, on "The Goldbergs," TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5 (9:01-9:31 p.m., ET).

"TROPHY WIFE" - "The Date" - When Kate and Pete host a party, Jackie crashes and hooks up with Pete's co-worker Sad Steve (Nat Faxon), much to Pete's discomfort. "IN THE SPOTLIGHT WITH ROBIN ROBERTS: COUNTDOWN TO THE CMA AWARDS," A SPECIAL EDITION OF "20/20" - As fans get ready to celebrate the CMA Awards, ABC brings viewers the fifth annual edition of "In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Countdown to the CMA Awards." Featuring the hottest stars on the country scene as well as music's greatest country legends, the special gives viewers an all-access pass into the homes and private lives of country music's biggest stars including: Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Shania Twain, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, and the cast of "Nashville." "TROPHY WIFE" - "Lice & Beary White" - When the Harrison household is infected with lice, Diane tries to take charge leaving Kate feeling bulldozed. "THE MIDDLE" - The Jump" - Frankie is upset over constantly being made fun of by her family and finds some solace in the unconditional love she gets from a rescued dog; Frankie and Mike are stunned when Sue makes the high school volleyball team - but, as always, there's a catch; and when Axl discovers that he is failing three of his four college classes, he calls on Brick to help him with his studies, on "The Middle," WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET).

"BACK IN THE GAME" - "Safety Squeeze" - After an incident at Angles practice, The Cannon and Dick are sent to safety and sensitivity training. Meanwhile, Terry takes special interest in Dudley when his parents forget to pick him up after practice. When Terry finds out his parents are getting a divorce, she's determined to make sure he isn't neglected, on "Back in the Game," WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET).

"MODERN FAMILY" - "A Fair to Remember" - The family attends the annual school fair and Phil has a big 20th wedding anniversary surprise planned for Claire at the fairgrounds, but unfortunately, she simultaneously has a surprise for him back at home. Gloria signs Jay up to be a fair cop for the day and it gets worse when he's partnered up with his nemesis. "SUPER FUN NIGHT" - "The Love Lioness" - Kimmie and the gang decide to attend a seminar by Jane Spencer, "The Love Lioness," (guest star Molly Shannon) a relationship guru who likens finding men to hunting prey in the wild. They try her theories out at a hotel bar. It works a little too well when Kimmie picks up Parker (guest star Will Sasso) and isn't sure what to do when he invites her up to his room, on "Super Fun Night," WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13 (9:31-10:00 p.m. ET). Molly Shannon and Will Sasso guest star.

"NASHVILLE" - "She's Got You" - As Teddy's wedding day nears, Maddie feels lost and tells Rayna she wants to get to know Deacon better, forcing Rayna to confront Deacon about stepping up to co-parent. Luke Wheeler (Will Chase, "Smash") commiserates with Rayna about the challenges of exes and parenting. While on tour in Texas, Juliette angers a lecherous but very influential radio DJ who starts promoting Layla at Juliette's expense. Deacon tries to find his way back to music and discovers an unexpected ally in Avery. While on a date with Layla, Will runs into Brent on a date with a new man, and Gunnar finds himself in a power position in his singing and songwriting, on "Nashville," WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET).
