LUKE BRYAN, LADY GAGA, KENDRICK LAMAR AND MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS TO PERFORM ON THE "2013 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS(R)"

Sunday, November 24th at 8 PM ET/PT on ABC

dick clark productions has announced that Luke Bryan, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will perform on the "2013 American Music Awards," which will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC. All artists join previously announced performers Miley Cyrus, Florida Georgia Line, Imagine Dragons and One Direction. Additional acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

The "2013 American Music Awards" is produced by dick clark productions. Allen Shapiro is Executive Producer and Larry Klein is Producer.

Preceding the ABC broadcast for the 5th consecutive year will be the "Coca-Cola Red Carpet LIVE! @ The 2013 AMAs" pre-show hosted by Lance Bass, Rosie Pierri, Jordin Sparks and Jenna Ushkowitz. This year's pre-show performers will include Kurt Hugo Schneider, Jabbawockeez, Jesse McCartney and Fifth Harmony. Live coverage will stream online for fans worldwide starting at 5:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. PT on November 24 and for the first time will be available on Yahoo.com, this year's official digital distributor of the American Music Awards Experience. The stream can also be watched at TheAMAs.com, ABC.com, Time Warner Cable's Facebook page, and the websites within the Cumulus Radio Network, the AMAs official radio partner.

The "American Music Awards" are voted on by the fans. For the seventh year in a row, winners will be determined by online voting. Fans can vote at the Coca-Cola AMA voting site, AMAvote.com. In addition, for the first time in AMAs History, fans will also be able to vote for their favorite artists via Twitter.

Luke Bryan launched his recent album, "Crash My Party," with a No. 1 debut on both the Billboard 200 and Country sales chart with 527,783 units in its first week of release, making it the largest sales debut for a Country male artist since 2004 and the fourth highest album to debut across all genres this year. Additionally, Luke is one of only two country artists that have sold more than a half-million copies of an album in a single week since 2008. This is Bryan's second consecutive Top 200 #1 album. "Crash My Party" has now sold over one million copies and has been certified Platinum by the RIAA. His first headline tour, the "Dirt Road Diaries Tour," sold-out all dates this year and he recently announced a new tour will begin in January, the "That's My Kind of Night" tour. Luke received his first American Music Award last year and this is his first time he will perform on the show.

Lady Gaga came to prominence following the release of her debut studio album "The Fame" (2008), which sold over 15 million copies worldwide. Her contributions to the music industry have garnered her numerous achievements including five Grammy Awards amongst fifteen nominations, thirteen MTV Video Music Awards amongst twenty-six nominations, and the estimated sale of 24 million albums and 90 million singles worldwide. She has travelled the world on numerous tours including 2008's "The Fame Ball," 2009-2011's "The Monster Ball" and 2012-2013's "Born This Way Ball." An HBO television special titled "Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden," earned an Emmy Award amongst its five nominations. Her third studio album, "Born This Way," broke the iTunes record for the fastest rise to # 1 on release day. In 2013, Time Magazine named her the second most influential person of the decade. With over 2.5 billion combined views of all her videos online, Lady Gaga is one of the biggest living forces in social media with over 60 million likes on Facebook and over 40 million followers on Twitter. She is also a global activist and philanthropist, having been an outspoken supporter of many important issues including LGBT rights, HIV/AIDS awareness, body image issues, and youth empowerment. In 2011, she launched her own Born This Way Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering youth and creating a kinder and braver world. In 2011, she also built and launched a social network just for her fans, LittleMonsters.com. Lady Gaga is the only artist in the digital era to top the 5 million sales mark with her first two hits. Lady Gaga's fourth studio album, ARTPOP, will be released on November 11, 2013 in conjunction with an app developed by TechHAUS, the technological branch of HAUS OF GAGA. On this day, HAUS OF GAGA verges with forte to bring the music industry into a new age; an age where art drives pop, and the artist once again is in control of the "icon." ARTPOP could mean anything. But for Lady Gaga, this is a celebration of obsession.

Top Dawg Entertainment recording artist Kendrick Lamar burst into the mainstream on October 22, 2012 with the release of his major label debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city. After having established himself as a force in the music industry with his Top Dawg Entertainment camp for nearly a decade, Lamar and company continue to leave their mark on hip-hop culture. The platinum selling good kid, m.A.A.d city, has spawned three number one singles with "Swimming Pools (Drank)," "Poetic Justice," and "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe," with "Swimming Pools (Drank)" achieving platinum status and having sold 4.5 million singles overall. Currently, Lamar is on tour with Kanye West on his nationwide Yeezus Tour.

Since its #2 Billboard Top 200 debut, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' debut album, "The Heist," has reached Platinum sales. Along with two #1 hits under their belts, the premier hip-hop duo has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and performed on Saturday Night Live. The Seattle, WA based artists have also garnered attention in the NY Times, NPR, USA Today, TIME, graced the cover of Billboard, and more, with live performances on nearly every late night TV show. This fall, they will embark on a sold-out arena tour, fresh off of recently winning 3 MTV VMA's, for Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Cinematography, and Best Video with a Social Message.

Viewers will also get a second-screen experience jam-packed with "snack-able" videos, photos, GIFs, memes, "Insta-Fashion Pops," "Thank You Cam" shout outs, and much more across every major social platform.

In collaboration with Twitter, Twitter Mirrors will be placed in select backstage areas. The "selfie stations" will provide a candid look into the backstage scene. Also this year, the AMAs and Twitter will debut the first-ever VINE 360 FASHION BOOTH placed right in the middle of the red carpet. Fashion buffs around the world will have a front row seat to an unparalleled close look at celebrity red carpet fashion - in REAL TIME.

The "2013 American Music Awards" partners include Cumulus, Time Warner Cable, Yahoo and Music Choice.
