ESPN's Stephanie Druley to Head Up Production for SEC Network
ESPN's Stephanie Druley has been named vice president, production for college networks, overseeing the launch of the SEC Network set to debut August 2014. Druley has served as vice president, production Longhorn Network for the past three years. The 23-year ESPN veteran will oversee all content production for the Southeastern Conference's new national 24-hour network.
As head of production for SEC Network, Druley will oversee the production of at least 450 live televised SEC events planned for the network's first year and a range of original content and studio programming. Her responsibilities will also include oversight of all on-air content and network talent.
"Stephanie has a wealth of experiences and expertise in creating the highest level production," said John Wildhack, ESPN executive vice president, production. "She has worked across a range of different spots at ESPN including SportsCenter, NFL, and college. Stephanie will ensure the same level of production excellence is a staple on the SEC Network."
Druley's more than 20 years' experience at ESPN includes overseeing all NFL studio shows for ESPN and leading Sunday NFL Countdown to three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Weekly Studio Show. Recently, the work of Stephanie and her team has been recognized in earning eight Regional Emmy Awards in 2012 and nominations for 18 in this year's upcoming ceremony.
"This is a great opportunity for me to be a part of building the network for SEC fans," said Druley. "Our productions will honor the traditions and reflect the passion found in the Conference."'
Texas A&M at South Carolina on August 28, 2014 is scheduled to be the network's first live event. The game is one of approximately 45 college football games the network will air its first year. Studio shows will primarily be based out of ESPN's Charlotte, N.C. studios.

SEC Network
The Southeastern Conference and ESPN have signed a 20-year agreement through 2034 to create and operate a multiplatform network which will launch in August 2014. The new network and its accompanying digital platform will air SEC content 24/7 including more than 1,000 events in its first year. The network will televise approximately 45 SEC football games, more than 100 men's basketball games, 60 women's basketball games, 75 baseball games, and events from across the SEC's 21 sports annually. Programming will also include studio shows, original content such as SEC Storied, spring football games, signing day and pro days coverage. Hundreds of additional live events from various sports will be offered exclusively on the digital platform.
