NBC Gives "Sean Saves the World" Five More Episodes

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has ordered five additional episodes of its freshman comedy "Sean Saves the World," Deadline.com reports.
The news brings its season total to 18 episodes. "Sean" has averaged a modest 3.880 million viewers (1.19 rating among adults 18-49) to date this season, behind fellow Thursday entries "The Michael J. Fox Show" (4.791 million, 1.47 adults 18-49 rating) and "Parks & Recreation" (3.236 million, 1.24 adults 18-49 rating) in the key demographic.
Said trio will be joined by "Community" in January, replacing the previously axed "Welcome to the Family" (2.632 million, 0.93 adults 18-49 rating).
