USA NETWORK CONTINUES TO CELEBRATE "MODERN FAMILY" FANS WITH A MULTI-MARKET POP-UP PHOTO STUDIO THAT HITS MALLS JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

"MODERN FAMILY Pop-Up Photo Studio" Is The Latest Extension Of Fan-Centric Campaign To Celebrate MODERN FAMILY Airing Multiple Nights A Week On USA

NEW YORK - November 13, 2013 - As part of its ongoing campaign to shine a spotlight on the MODERN FAMILY fans (AKA MOFY'S), USA is bringing a "MODERN FAMILY Pop-Up Photo Studio" to malls across the country. Just in time for the holiday photo season, the multi-city tour is an interactive destination for consumers to create free and shareable MODERN FAMILY-themed animated GIFs and photos.

The MODERN FAMILY Pop-Up Photo Studio will visit Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, and Chicago. Shoppers will have the unique opportunity to create the ultimate MODERN FAMILY-themed holiday card. The entire family can have fun while taking photos with cardboard cut outs of their favorite characters from the show's cast, along with other iconic props from the series. Fans will receive a print out of the photo on site and these images will also be transformed into an animated GIF that will be immediately shareable across e-mail, text, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Fans can also visit the MOFY Nation Facebook Page to upload their images and transform them into animated GIFs that pay homage to the series' iconic show open.

"When we acquired the cable rights to MODERN FAMILY, we knew we wanted to create unique, personalized experiences that would bring the show's humor and heart to life for fans," said Alexandra Shapiro, executive vice president, marketing and digital, USA Network. "The USA MODERN FAMILY Pop-Up Photo Studio is an example of how we're capturing the fun, family-friendly spirit of the series and engaging MOFYs in their own world this holiday season."

The pop-up photo studio tour comes on the heels of USA's MODERN FAMILY Fan Appreciation Day, where the network rolled out the red carpet for series fans to celebrate the syndication launch of the hit comedy. The event featured a live table read with the entire cast in Los Angeles. More than 1,300 fans turned out for the star-studded evening, which helped kick off a partnership with Feeding America, rallying USA fans across the nation to help put food on the table this holiday season for less fortunate families. From now thru December, consumers across the nation are encouraged to visit modernfamily.usanetwork.com to find out more information on how to help Feeding America fight hunger across the country.

Online, MOFY's can enjoy exclusive digital content and share and upload testimonials inspired by the series at mofynation.com. Each episode of MODERN FAMILY on USA offers a sync-to-broadcast experience, allowing viewers to access bonus content during the show in real-time via MODERN FAMILY SYNC or within the USA Anywhere App as well as inside a number of Social TV apps including NextGuide, Shazam, Viggle and zeebox.
