NEW YORK, Dec. 9, 2013 -- VH1 has recruited celebrity hosts Nick Cannon and Stacy Keibler to join its winning team to help kick off Super Bowl XLVIII. Cannon and Keibler will host all six live concert telecasts, taking place throughout the New York City and New Jersey area as part of the VH1 Super Bowl Blitz working with the NFL.

"We've enjoyed a longtime, successful relationship with the NFL, putting on the biggest pregame live concert leading up to the Super Bowl," said Tom Calderone, President, VH1. The VH1 Super Bowl Blitz is the ultimate music fan's pregame party featuring today's hottest artists making stops at six different venues, six nights in a row. Rain or shine, snow or hail, the show must go on. The VH1 Super Bowl Blitz (#VH1BLITZ) locations include:

Queens: Queens College - Monday, January 27

Bronx: Lehman College - Tuesday, January 28

Brooklyn: Brooklyn Bowl - Wednesday, January 29

Manhattan: Beacon Theatre - Thursday, January 30

Staten Island: St. George Theatre - Friday, January 31

New Jersey-: The Wellmont Theatre (Montclair, NJ) - Saturday, February 1

Nick Cannon and Stacy Keibler will join some of music's biggest names on stage as the official hosts for the VH1 Super Bowl Blitz. Nick Cannon (@NickCannon) is an award winning actor, comedian, rapper and radio/television personality. Cannon began as a teenager as the youngest script writer in industry history and actor on "All That" before going on to create, host and executive produce "The Nick Cannon Show," "Wild 'N Out," and the TeenNick Halo Awards to name a few. He has starred in films "Men in Black II", "Drumline," and RFK biopic Bobby to name a few. Cannon will be returning as the host of for the new season of NBC's top rated "America's Got Talent" for the 6th year in a row.

Stacy Keibler (@StacyKeibler) is an American actress, model, tv host and former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader. Keibler has appeared in multiple comedy, drama, and dance projects including "How I Met Your Mother," "Psych," "Chuck," "Men at Work," as well as "Dancing with the Stars," where she was one of the three finalists. She recently hosted the Lifetime series "Supermarket Superstar" and has graced the pages of numerous magazines including Shape, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Men's Fitness, Self, and Italian Vanity Fair.

Official sponsors of the VH1 Super Bowl Blitz are Papa John's and Verizon.

The VH1 Super Bowl Blitz will begin on Monday, January 27 through Saturday, February 1 at 11 PM ET/PT. Performances will also be available at superbowl.vh1.com.
