CHEVY CHASE, MD (Jan. 2, 2014) - Today, Travel Channel kicks off its second annual programming event and sweepstakes, "The Trip: 2014," which features a $100,000 dream adventure giveaway packed with the most surprising and exclusive experiences you can find in Spain and Morocco. Beginning today, fans can submit an entry to win this year's over-the-top prize itinerary at Travelchannel.com/thetrip. "The Trip: 2014" online sweepstakes runs from January 2nd through March 24th at 5:00 p.m. and complements the one-hour special which premieres on Travel Channel on Monday, January 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. "The Trip: 2014" special spotlights the best of Spain - the most incredible adventures, exclusive access, mouth-watering food and luxurious accommodations possible in this European hotspot, plus a special trip off the beaten path to mystical Marrakesh, Morocco. Lexus, the luxury brand, is the presenting automotive sponsor for 2014.

Presented by Adam Richman, Don Wildman, Anthony Melchiorri and Samantha Brown, "The Trip: 2014" features a collection of activities only Travel Channel could curate. Viewers will feel the pulse of the city with box seats at a Barcelona stadium, fly high above Morocco's Atlas Mountains with a world champion paraglider, eat at exclusive restaurants bypassing year-long waiting lists and sail to a private island so exclusive it commands tens of thousands of dollars per night.
