BEAUTY, MEET YOUR MAKERS!

OXYGEN MEDIA TRANSFORMS 12 MODELTESTANTS INTO SUPERMODELS ON "THE FACE" SEASON TWO PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5 AT 10PM ET/PT

Network Announces ELLE Magazine As Editorial Partner With The Winner To Be Featured In July Issue

NEW YORK, NY - January 6, 2014 - Twelve modeltestants will compete to become the newest face of Frédéric Fekkai as Oxygen Media premieres the second season of modeling competition series "The Face," on Wednesday, March 5 at 10 PM ET/PT. The network today announced ELLE, the world's largest fashion magazine with 44 editions around the world, as an editorial partner. The partnership includes in-show integrations, guest judging roles, prizing and digital cross-promotions, with the winner appearing in the July issue of ELLE in a feature styled by Fekkai. It takes a team of "FaceMakers," or fashion insiders, to transform a model into a supermodel and the magazine's top editors will appear throughout the season to help guide the hopefuls and lend their expertise. Editor-in-Chief Robbie Myers (@robbie_ELLE), Creative Director Joe Zee (@mrjoezee), Fashion News Director Anne Slowey (@anneslowey) and ELLE.com Editor, Leah Chernikoff (@leahchernikoff) will appear throughout the competition. As previously announced, Oxygen and Shine America formed a strategic multi-dimensional partnership with Frédéric Fekkai, a global leader in luxury hair care. Frédéric himself will be seen in a number of episodes and in the end, the winner will receive an ultimate grand prize of becoming a spokesperson and ambassador for Frédéric Fekkai's 2014 national ad campaign.

"ELLE Magazine is a FaceMaker and fashion authority. Their print and digital properties reach a global audience of modern young women," said Jane Olson, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy, Oxygen Media. "The ELLE brand embodies beauty, mentorship, authenticity and the power of transformation, which makes them a perfect partner for "The Face."

As part of the editorial partnership, digital and social media cross-promotions will include exclusive blogs by ELLE editors giving fans expert fashion and style tips on Oxygen.com and ELLE.com, in addition to promotion via ELLE's exclusive blogger relationships and their "Inner Circle" reader panel. "The Face" cast and editors from the magazine will also host a Google+ hangout leading up to the season premiere.

"We always want to inspire and empower the more than 16 million women ELLE reaches across a variety of mediums," said Robbie Myers, Editor-in-Chief of ELLE. "We're excited to bring that spirit to our partnership with 'The Face' this season as our editors help guide the hopefuls as they learn what it really takes to be a successful, working model."

Produced by Shine America, "The Face" returns with executive producer Naomi Campbell (@NaomiCampbell) as a supermodel coach along with two new supermodel coaches, Anne V (@AnneV) and Lydia Hearst (@LHearst) and host Nigel Barker (@NigelBarker). The ten-episode series tests the modeltestants' versatility and fundamental skills in an array of challenges such as photo shoots, runway shows and commercials. Throughout the season, the hopefuls will have the opportunity to make a life-changing transformation through unprecedented access to clients, national brands and iconic mentorships.

Fans of "The Face" can access exclusive content and join the conversation on the show's social accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google+ and Pinterest. Viewers may root for their favorite coach using #TeamNaomi, #TeamAnneV and #TeamLydia and tweet or read about the series using #TheFace hashtag on Twitter. The supermodel coaches and host can also be followed via Twitter using @NaomiCampbell, @LHearst,@AnneV and @NigelBarker.
