MANHATTAN (WGN America/Lionsgate; W: Sam Shaw; D: Thomas Schlamme) - Harry Lloyd ("Game of Thrones") is the first to be cast in the upcoming drama, which is set against the backdrop of the greatest clandestine race against time in the history of science - the mission to build the world's first atomic bomb in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He'll play one of said scientists. Production on the series is slated to begin in March in New Mexico. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Mark Deklin has joined the cast of "Devious Maids" as Nicholas, "a handsome, charming, well-educated and wealthy Beverly Hills businessman/philanthropist with many secrets, whose first wife died under mysterious circumstances" (Deadline.com); "Breaking Bad" co-executive producer Tom Schnauz has inked a two-year overall deal with producer Sony Pictures Television (Deadline.com); Darren Aronofsky's Protozoa Pictures has signed a three-year first look deal with HBO (Deadline.com); Andy Richter will guest on "Sean Saves the World" as "a senatorial candidate with some impulse control issues" (TVLine.com); and Molly Sims has been tapped as "a lawyer living in the suburbs"/love interest for Gibbs (James Lesure) on "Men at Work" (TVGuide.com).
